He is not a great doctor. Doesn't take time with you. He prescribed me several medications that should NOT have been taken together. That was dangerous.
As a delivery driver I have found myself delivering to this medical facility several times Dr. Norton is infamous for not tipping delivery drivers while having hundred dollar orders 😳 whatever you do do not deliver to this facility or to this doctor because it is a waste of your time effort and energy!
Many years ago Dr. Norton was my primary care physician in Laurel, Ms. I was having some issues with my physical and mental health. Dr. Norton was so honest with me, he advocated for me, he was sensitive to my needs yet firm with me about what I needed to do to become a healthier person. I appreciate him more than he'd ever know, being in his care along with the help of God changed the trajectory of my life.
This man service of care is the lowest form of care, and he makes the people who seek his service feel as tho they are dumb if they even question his services. My mother is in his care and he has convinced her that he has requested medical services that would improve her overall health improvements but when she tried to get a medical pump for her arm, using the prescription we had to get approved by her medical insurance which would have been no problem, if dr norton took the steps to make sure she needed everything. Then when the medical supply center could provide the pump because dr norton never did the other steps like getting my mother a sleeve for her arm, etc. This man throws pills at the problem, then when you ask him about it. He double talks you, talks fast using medical terms that most people wouldn't know unless they went to medical school for 8 plus years. This is a man in my opinion only cares about what he can bill the insurance. If its not a return for him he doesn't care. This man is the worst doctor and should really think about why he became a doctor in the first place. Cause one day he's going to be an old man and someone will double talk and dismiss his concerns because they think they know best. His job is to do no harm but he is... his care is harmful for my mother but she's so committed to him that she rather let him do what's best so not to rock the boat. However I would bet any type of money if he saw her in setting outside his office he wouldn't know who she was.You have to rate to post but that one star doesn't mean anything since it was a means to an end.
He barely stays in the room long enough to access the patient . Arrogant . Most time will not answer questions or concerns . He realistically just writes or refills prescriptions and orders blood work. He is in the mindset all his patients need to be in a nursing home .Beside being a physician at Jefferson Medical is also a nursing home Physician . He has no value for Quality of life of his patients
Horrible smart attitude. Poor excuse for medical professional. Took a hypocratic oath to do no harm yet you caused my mother's death. God knows what you did and will take care of you.
Conducts himself with an attitude. Has extremely poor bedside manner and does respond well when asked questions by his patients. I would not send my cat to him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
