This place is not remotely what it says it is. Their employees completely break protocol and do not follow the rules to protect & serve their clients. They take thousands of dollars from you and do not take responsibility for their errors. They admitted guilt but instead of offering a refund, they offered more treatment. If you didn’t follow procedures the first time, why would we expect any different. They release patients from detox at THEIR request not at the recommendation of professional staff. Their staff also aide clients in doing wrong. Please do not send your loved ones here!

I was in treatment at The Estate almost two years ago, and my experience as a resident there completely changed the course of my life. A few days after I went to The Estate, I experienced the most traumatizing loss I could’ve imagined. Being freshly sober, literally only days into detox, my first thought was to leave, but the staff and community at this exemplary treatment facility made me feel like I was exactly where I needed to be. I committed to 90 days, and slowly began to work through my trauma. The staff was extremely patient with me. Idice, Sage, Mr. Bernard, Amy, and every other member of the staff dedicated their time and energy to my health and recovery. I have no complaints about any part of my experience here. The place is beautiful, the activities are thought provoking and healing, the staff is inspiring. I have been sober since the day I left The Estate, because they took the time to set me up for the most beautiful and successful life. They still reach out to this day to check on me. The Estate at Riverbend took my pain, and gave me purpose, and I am FOREVER grateful for that.

SO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. These people will make promises and agreements and as SOON as they get the $$$$$, pull back on everything. LOOK ELSEWHERE

When I first arrived, I was a very scared, lost, shell of a person. My first night in detox, head nurse Jane was like a true angel. I awoke several times and found her putting a cold drink on my night stand, setting up a fan as I began to sweat, she even cooked me a thoughtful diabetic meal. As lost and scared as I was, she made me feel safe and loved! She set the tone for my entire stay!I can’t say enough how amazing the facilities and grounds are and how much every single staff member cares and is committed to your recovery! The nursing staff, Jane, Sandy, Faith, Tammy, Paige were all amazing and caring.The Clinical assistances, Amy, Bobby, Teri, Carmen Teisha, Dana, Mary and Jennifer went above and beyond to help take care of everyone’s needs. One CA (you know who you are) even got me some sugar free snacks on her personal time because there was a mistake on shopping day, so thoughtful!The treatment team and staff, Sage, Idice, Tina, Kathrine and Vicky were the absolute best! Everyone of them brings something different to the process and together they make for an amazing experience!Chuck and Gravy are not thanked enough, they do an amazing job at keeping the grounds and facility’s in immaculate condition.Last but not least my favorite “person” there was Elvis! He is an amazing dog with a uncanny sense for knowing just who needs love at any given time. It seemed like he was always right next to me my first days there. As soon as I was doing better he was off the the next person! He will be getting a good care package soon!If you are scared, a mess, lost, broken, this is the place to put it all back together! I was truly amazed at the dual diagnosis (mental and substance abuse) approach to my treatment. We didn’t just address one thing while I was there, they addressed it all with positive encouragement and continued care!

The amount of gratitude I have for The Estate is unmeasurable. The Estate has a mission to educate, improve, build self-esteem, and help clients not only achieve sobriety, but how to excel in the life they want and grow to feel that they deserve with the help of the Staff at TERB. The Estate is set on a beautiful piece of property in Southern Mississippi offering clients a unique treatment experience unlike others. It’s a quiet and peaceful environment that made it easy for me to focus on myself and my individual recovery goals and spirituality. The staff at TERB is nothing short of amazing. Each and every staff member have their own set of specific qualities that had such an impact on me. Their support for their clients went above and beyond my expectations. I was made to feel at home and comfortable and taught life lessons that exceed far beyond “recovery tools” that you can take with you as you continue your recovery journey at home. The staff are not just staff, they are true friends and family. I wouldn’t trade my experience at The Estate for anything! I highly recommend it!

My 2 month expierience here was top notch. The staff is very well educated and love what they do. The clinical staff of nurses are very good at keeping you comfortable through your whole stay there. The doctor and psychiatrist were seen through Tele medicine I believe due to covid. All the staff helped make that an easy process. The estate is very secluded out in the middle of no were and that made my stay very comfortable and private. The property is very beautiful. The 1 on 1 therapy and group therapy is organized and makes for a schedule that is not hard to follow during my stay there. The estate has changed my life and has given me alot of tools to move forward in my recovery. I'm so happy that I chose the estate. I give them an A+ I would highly recommend them to anybody struggling with addiction.

DO NOT LET THIS PLACE DETOX YOU OFF HEROIN. They let me and my husband come as they will tell you. We paid $4,800 up front. They will tell you this is only half price. They kept giving us medication that made us so ill that a nurse who claimed she had done this for 13 years said she’d never seen people so sick. I let them know not to keep giving a certain medication because it was sending us into precipitated withdrawals. After 3 days of pure torture we left. Understand my husband’s blood pressure was 90/71 at this point. In detox you cook your own food which if you’ve done this before you know you are no where in a place to do and they don’t bring your medications to you. You have to walk and hope a staff member is in the room and ask. Again most have scheduled medication times. I called and ask the director for a partial refund and he would not meet halfway. Their doctor is brand new at this time, along with the day nurse. Also the doctor is a telemedicine doctor not one who is in person with you. Also they filled a controlled substance in our name after we left which is completely not legal. They were very kind but this place doesn’t know what they are doing and I don’t want to see someone else use all their savings to go here and the same thing happen. I told them for 2 days to change the medication and it wasn’t until we were leaving AMA that they got on the phone with the doctor who said he’d do it but at that point it was too late. The director feels an objective mind will side with him when this is read and that’s you parents or a spouse but I sure hope y’all will actually read this and hear the pain of people trusting in people who couldn’t complete the job they promised and lost all their savings and y’all will look elsewhere.

The Estate at River Bend helped me put my recovery at the center of my life. The compassionate team provided me with a personalized plan to reach my goal. The accommodations are very nice and the location gave me a chance to disconnect from the outside world and focus on getting healthy.
