I had to call the weekend on-call physician and it just happened to be Dr. Mitchell. While she is not my regular ophthalmologist, I was treated with the highest quality of care. She returned my call within 15 minutes on Saturday. I sent her a picture of my eye and she promptly send in meds that worked beautifully. She called me around 12:15 on Sunday to check on me and said she would be in her office around 1:30 on Sunday if I would like her to check my eye. We were finishing a meeting after church and went to her office. She throughly check my eye and gave me peace of mind. While my case was not necessarily an emergency, it sort of was to me and the care Dr. Mitchell showed me was outstanding. She said she would send a copy of my visit to my regular ophthalmologist, so they would have a record of it. While I am very happy with my Dr. and am not looking for a new ophthalmologist, I would highly recommend Dr. Mitchell. Her care and professionalism is outstanding.

never got to see a doctor. the schedulers neglected to put my appointment on the books, after leaving me on hold for 20 minutes while determining that Dr. Mitchell had no appointments available but Dr. Kosek did and provided me that appointment. Apparently driving an hour from 80+ miles away is not important. I was told I had to come back tomorrow - which I cannot do it's too far and half a tank of gas later and 160+ miles wasted.

Dr Mitchell is the nicest, most caring physician I have had the pleasure of using. She listens, is always gracious and is genuine in her goals to make sure your eye care is what is best for you, the individual. Would highly recommend her.
