List of Gary Gibson's Reviews
UNLIKE most doctors these days who are “hurry, wait, hurry up, pay & go”; Dr. Gibson was patient, and attentive, with a great bedside manner. Kudos to his nurse, as well 😉 TOO BAD his office is located in the Internal Medicine Clinic (IMC) building at Anderson Regional Medical Center! IMC Administration, IMC scheduling, IMC Security (aka ARMC Security), and IMC billing office are VERY POORLY MANAGED; making it IMPOSSIBLE for me to continue seeing Dr. Gibson 😔 IMC needs new management all around! (see my Google review for Internal Medicine Clinic, PLLC/Meridian, MS) I’ll miss Dr. Gibson.
My first visit was awesome. No rush and he was very concern abt my health.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Gibson! He sits with you and listens intently. He answers any questions or concerns I have. It's hard to find a family doctor of his caliber these days. I would be remiss if I did not mention his nurse, Shannon. She is nothing less than an angel on Earth; genuinely cares about you and is so loving. I wouldn't trade him or her for anyone.
Just awesome!!!
Dr Gibson was a refreshing change to the unfortunate "boiler plate" assembly line approach to medical care. He didn't try to push me out the door to make room for the next paying customer.
At first he was seeing my mother and was very nice and seemed to care. I decided to see him myself and at first he was nice enough but I noticed after a while he seemed not to care. I am diabetic and when I started having a lot of trouble keeping my blood sugar down he hardly did anything. I go to a pain clinic and I definately felt like I was being judged for that by him and his staff. I have 2 herniated discs in my back and am in pain a lot of the time and I have a feeling he was in the same pain he would not just endure it. He would seek treatment. So to what I am trying to convey is dont wast your time an d mony on this whole group.
I spent several years with another doctor merely because it was easy to get into see him quickly, although I wasn't happy with his beside manner or the fact that he dismissed concerns I had about even mundane health issues such as sinus infections. I finally switched to Dr. Gibson based on my pain treatment doctor's CNP recommendation. I have since been diagnosed by Dr. Gibson with 2 vitamin deficiencies that had long gone uncovered and untreated. This doctor listens to me. He does testing to get to the root of the problem. He is not dismissive, as many male doctors tend to be especially with female patients. Due to his and Renee Lyles' (the CNP I referred to earlier) collaboration and concern, I've finally been diagnosed with a condition that requires surgery and is easily treatable. Without the concern, patience and diligence of Dr. Gibson this would not have been possible.
i thought thid dr really cared about patients, but he does not care about his patients esp if they have a mental illness ..im very dissapointed,i been in a lot of pain due to back damage and imy back would hurt so bad id attempted sucide i find myself in the state hospitial and when i come out his rude nurse tells me im not welcome there, his staff is very rude,i couldnt help being in pain and if this dr cant look over that and understand hes not much of a dr,he and his staff discriminate against the mentally ill,he shares medical information with other dr without patient permission,he makes promises he cant keep,i thought he cared
all this dr does is lie and so does his nurses and hes not comfidential.he doesnt care where the pain med works or not, they dont help any as referring you to othwer dr
this dr and staff care about there patients and will help you.hes nice

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
