Dr. Garbee was kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. I am new to Pensacola and have worked in healthcare for 25 years as a Director of Rehabilitation and have known many physicians. My brother, who has intellectual deficits and autism, had 2 strokes 4 days after moving to Pensacola. He explained to my brother his complex diagnosis in terms he was able to understand and showed compassion towards him and myself like no other neurologist I've come across professionally or personally. On a scale of 1 to 10...Dr. Garbee gets 100!!

I saw Dr. Garbe several years ago. I was completely exhausted at the time, and I began to cry as the nurse was asking questions. I rarely cry, but this day was horrible. When Dr. Garbe came in, he asked me why I was crying. He made me hold my arms over my head for two min. or so. He then proceeded to tell me that nothing is wrong with me and if I didn't change, my husband was going to leave me! I've never been treated so poorly! Turns out, I was diagnosed with narcolepsy several years later!

Dr Garbee has moved to Jacksonville Florida and I am very happy with that. He listens to me and answers all of my questions. I have even trusted him with my husband and father.

He listened to what my fears were and helped me take care the most important things first. I have even trusted him with my husband and father. When my son comes back from school in Texas he will take of his seizure control as well.
