List of Scott Hanegan's Reviews
ALWAYS a long wait, although I ALWAYS arrived early. Then, Dr. Hanegan was ALWAYS in a hurry, and ALWAYS rushed; oftentimes complaining about his “busy day”, only to reschedule for (one of MANY) insurance-milking follow-ups claiming (several times) it was “too late” during that day’s appointment to do anything. I had so many folllow-ups to follow-up appointments that it caused me to exceed my insurance’s annual office visit limit! Yet, I was billed for every single visit! 10 months (and 4 in-office procedures) later, and I’m STILL suffering!! 😡 2 ingrown toenail removals (on my big toes) killed BOTH nails; many months later, they still haven’t fully regrown. I’ve suffered from a digital cyst since my 1st visit to him. 8 months later, he finally agreed to remove the cyst, but FLAT REFUSED to do it properly in the surgery center, instead opting for a useless in-office procedure. I tried to reason with Hanegan, noting that if we’re going to cut into my toe, why not do it right THE FIRST TIME. Hanegan told me that he’d only remove the cyst in the surgical ward if the in-office surgery wasn’t successful, and ONLY if the cyst regrew bigger than before. In other words; just keep cutting it out, over repeated visits & in-office procedures, until it disappears, or grows back bigger than the 1st. (all while getting paid, of course) As suspected, the cyst quickly regrew into an even BIGGER problem! (Since win is removing a cyst an “experimental” procedure?) Of course, Internal Medicine Clinic started billing me directly after I exceeded my limit on annual office visits. I’m NOT going to be subjected to multiple, unnecessary office vists or procedures. I’m not going to be Hanegan’s “cash cow”. I canceled all future appointments. I’ll likely have to travel a way to find a new podiatrist, but (at least) I can hope to find one who’ll get the job done RIGHT the FIRST time!
Very good. Very thorough.
Very terrible experience. Made my foot hurt worse. He pressed the fine bones near the toes until they felt crushed. He put a very tight heavyweighted boot on my foot which made my blood pressure rise to 222/116. Needless to say I ended up in the ER. His staff is good but we look to him for guidance and relief. Instead I got complete misery and harm. I guess they know he is flawed so that's why they charge you before you see him. He is just another medical products salesman.
Dr Hannigan is a fantastic Dr! He’s very thorough and caring. His staff is friendly and so well trained and helpful.
Explanations were excellent. Treatment was thorough. I didn't wait long. Follow up was excellent.
Listens to your concerns and spends time addressing the issues. His diagnosis, treatment and instructions have made a HUGE difference in my feet.
Very impressed by this Dr.!
EVERYONE at The Foot Clinic of Meridian was amazing. All the way from the lady who booked my appointment to Dr. Hanegan!!!! I will definitely use them in the future!!!!
Everyone at The Foot Clinic of Meridian, from the lady who booked my appointment to Dr. Hanegan, was amazing!!!!! I got seen in a very timely manner. Everyone was very nice. Dr. Hanegan made absolutely sure that I had no questions before I left his office. I will definitely go back and see him and his staff again!!!
Great staff and great doctor.. they take the time to make you comfortable and make sure you understand everything. . I hate the way some doctors talk down to you, Dr Hanegan does not do that .. and his nurses are the same. . And they work well with your insurance and you understandin your bill.. which is more than fair on prices for services

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
