Dr. Ennis is one of the most caring and experienced physicians in this area. He has been my physician since I moved to Mississippi in 2002. I have never known him to over-prescribe or to miss a diagnosis. He is a knowledgeable and compassionate physician. I’m dreading the day that he retires.

He is a well seasoned doctor who makes you feel like you are talking to your uncle. He has an assistant make all the notes and meds. on the computer while he examines and talks with you AND he listens to you. He is a good combination of a 20th century and 21st century doctor. He is interested in and cares for his patients.

Should retire. Was very insulting to me and publicly accused me of Doctor shopping on my first visit. I’m brand new to Mississippi and was looking for a GP, but this man definitely won’t be it! Should not be practicing medicine at his advanced age and frail ego.

I was having chest pain and just felt very sick, especially after walking, after going to the emergency room several times I was told it was reflux, I knew this was not true, I have had reflux for 30 years. So I go to Dr Calvin Ennis and tell him what's going on and he ran some test and sent me to have a heart cath. I had a widow maker, 99% blockage I LAD, I was minutes away from a FATAL HEART ATTACK, Dr. Ennis my life saver With God! Thank you doctor.
