Been going to Dr. Christie office for years! Mrs. Cynthia is the best Nurse Practitioner ever & Dr. Christie is awesome! It's my one stop shop. Love these guys!

Dr. Christie is a gem! He’s super caring and compassionate. The low review is due to the staff. The receptionist are rude and not welcoming. I could write an essay on the nurse practitioner Cindy Barfield. She’s extremely rude and doesn’t take your concern’s seriously. I truly believe if you’re a woman of color you shouldn’t see her. If you speak to other women of color they will have the same story about her and how she made them feel. The staff was the reason I choose to switch providers. If Dr. Christie gets a new front desk staff and controls Cindy attitude I would happily return to him. *** Edit Update since the staff has responded to my review. Now when i read these reviews i see a trend acknowledging the office lack of time management- patients are reporting extreme long wait times. I can personally confirm I have waited at least a hour before making it to the back where you can expect to wait again. I can confirm I was 20 minutes late to my appointment which is 5 minutes outside the grace period. I called ahead that day was told they could see me to come anyway - it was canceled when I arrived. Now if the staff can acknowledge how important it is to be on time - why can’t they respect their patients times? I hope the comment they made really shows how the front office staff gaslights you then portray you to be the problem. All the concerns raised the only thing acknowledged is the 1 time I was late after being a patient for several years.

Dr. Watts is the best, just like everyone says. She spent time with me, she is very thorough, pleasant and considerate.

My first time coming here and Cindy and the other staff were wonderful.

I love Dr. Christie and NP Cindy. I've been a patient for almost 10 years! I honestly don't see how anybody can give a bad review because these people are totally awesome! I am a nurse with a doctorate degree and that makes me very wise when it comes to my healthcare. Cindy not only treats my body, but she is such a good listener and that treats my mind as well, not to mention I have great fun when I visit. So maybe those who gives a bad review need to walk in their shoes. The customer is not always right! However, some people cannot be pleased no matter how hard you try.

I have High Respect for Dr. Michael Christie. He is very Respectful, Caring, and All about his work. He’s been my OBGYN throughout My pregnancy and delivery of my little one. He cares about the safety of mother and baby & Overall a great doctor. There wasn’t a single moment that I thought any decisions made weren’t what was best for me and my baby. He listens and cares about what you want for you and yours. My Labor/ Delivery was calm, collected, and paid attention to with care. The staff by his side have been very caring and supportive as well! All questions I had, were given answers to quickly, and with care. The ladies that work with him are very attentive, and sweet as well! I 100% recommend Dr. Christie and his staff!! I definitely feel like family to this office!

Dr. Christie is the most caring doctor I have ever met! Let me talk about Cindy, the nurse practitioner. Cindy is very thorough and caring. She makes her patients feel comfortable and lends a caring ear when you discuss what is happening in your life. I have never had a bad experience with Cindy. She has a great sense of humor, which I appreciate. She is definitely a great asset. I’ve been going to this office since 2016 and look forward to the visits. Sometimes there is a wait to be seen, but remember, babies are not on a clock, they come whenever they feel like it. With that being said, the doctors might have to leave the office to deliver babies. I honestly don’t understand why someone would give a bad review. If you come to your appointment on time, you will have a wonderful experience. They even give a 15 minute grace if you call and let them know you are going to be a little late. By the way, I AM A WOMAN OF COLOR!

Was made clear his schedule is more important than the mothers... runs every yest to claim insurance. With that comes several appointments and tests that are completely needed or wanted...

He is a very welcoming, comforting, and loving doctor. He delivered my last two children and for both times i felt heard, safe, and more importantly stress free. He made my birthing experience very calm and relaxing. 100% recommend!

Dr Christie and his team are the best! I’ll forever always recommend him to everyone. My pregnancy was not the easiest. I had some problems in my pregnancy that arised that left Dr. Christie and his team making the decision to send me to a specialist to get a second opinion. After seeing the specialist and finding out some other problems I had with the pregnancy, Dr. Christie decided it be best if I deliver(via c section) once I’m 36 weeks pregnant at Ochsner In Louisiana where they have a team of experts to care for us if anything was to happen to me or my baby. Not even a week after seeing Dr. Christie and the specialist, I started bleeding heavily at 30 weeks pregnant and rushed to the hospital and Dr. Christie had to make a quick decision on what to do. Wether to have me transported to Louisiana or to do an emergency c section right then and there. Of course he took matters into his own hands and did the c section right away cause he couldn’t risk loosing me or the baby. I’ll forever be grateful for Dr. Christie and his team for everything they did for us. It was basically a life or death situation and Dr. Christie handle everything so well with his quick reaction and decisions. I know people complain that his office wait always takes a while, but wouldn’t you rather wait and have a great doctor that takes his time with each patient and listens? I’ll take a long wait instead of being in and out with a doctor that doesn’t care. After I got discharged from the hospital, Dr. Christie personally checked up on me just about everyday to see how I’m doing and how my baby is doing with him being in the NICU. I can go on and on but no words can say how thankful I am to have an amazing doctor that treats me like family! I been coming here for over 14 years and they always treated me with the best care. Thank you Dr. Christie and staff for everything! Y’all are amazing!
