2.7 stars huh? I wonder why…
I had the best experience here. I needed an emergency surgery. So I was pretty nervous and not sure what to expect. Despite being short staffed everyone was accommodating professional and friendly. Latrice was my nurse while I recovered after surgery. She went above and beyond to be helpful and she kept a smile on her face and a positive attitude the entire time. I would definitely recommend this hospital.
My daughter is in labor and delivery and I was on face time with her all night as only one person was allowed in the room. Most of the night we werent talking I was just listening for piece of mind.. I muted myself unless I was asked a question so there wasnt feedback. The nurse was aware of this all night and when my daughter was about to give birth my son in law was told that we couldnt FaceTime or record while she gave birth. So now I have to wait God knows how long to know that she is OK and I am missing the birth of my FIRST grandchild Also since when is it not OK to record the birth of your child?
Two years ago when my daughter used Methodist Olive Branch for labor and delivery we could have not asked for a better staff. Everyone was on point doing their job. I was constantly telling them that is was the best hospital and all theNurses and doctors were great. The ER used to be great to but now the ER is as bad as Baptist DeSoto. The ER staff doesn’t care. Im sure it’s caused their over worked but dang. At least pretend LIKE you care a little bit.
Yesterday Aug 02 2021 my daughter came to the er. Because she was sick. The level of treatment she received was awful. The triage nurse dee dee has a nasty nasty attitude and doesnt not need to be working with people. The nurses in the back has no beside manners. The only person there that evening with any respect for human life was the nurse practitioner. It so sad people already sick and has to come to the er to be treated so bad.
Horrible I see my OBGYN here and she is amazing but this e.r. is terrible. I have a cousin that is an O.B.G.Y.N and she recommended I go to an e.r. asap because I was presenting signs of Intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy which can cause fetal distress and sometimes stillbirth if it is untreated. Well because my symptoms were no contractions or labor I was refused to go upstairs where they see these things all the time and instead they tried to keep me downstairs where my baby would not be monitored or checked on. Needless to say I left. This hospital does not care about my child obviously. I will not be delivering here
This was a horrible experience. I wanted to go here because Baptist desto was super busy. When it was new it was beautiful but now there was trash under seats nobody was disinfecting and I was there an hour and not one person went to the back. Also the womens bathroom was so dirty and gross I left and went to Baptist Desoto after waiting 2 hours
DO NOT COME HERE I came here when the lobby was empty. I wait 3 hours. At this point the lobby is full and people are getting pulled back to get treated. I never received service and left. This hospital is full of people who dont care and put no effort in to their job.
I would give it a negative star if I could. There are a multitude of reasons why I wouldnt recommend this incompetent hospital to even my worst enemy. Their doctors are incompetent and rude. 1.They refused to pump the stomach of of a relative that was overdosing on pills because hospitals just dont do that anymore. That is what one of the ER nurses personally told me. His life was saved because he threw up majority of the pills not from the care of the doctors. 2. They waited until the last possible moment to transport a family member with a 95% blockage in their heart that they somehow missed during tests and scans also waiting on Medicare and that person died right before they were able to move him to the helicopter to be transported to Methodist Germantown when they finally realized they werent well enough equipped to handle the situation. 3. They also told another family member who was in there for blood transfusions and who is continuously passing stool with blood that there is no active bleed in their GI track. That was only because the doctor couldnt get past a blockage 14 of the way into their bowels. He tried different size scopes and couldnt get past it. She was not blocked because the whole time she was in there she would show the nurses all the blood that was coming out. So instead of doing a different exam to find out where the bleeding was coming from he simply just said that she wasnt actively bleeding anymore despite the large amount blood in her stool. So no I would not recommend this hospital to literally anyone on this planet. I have literally never had a good experience here. And the CEO gave a bullshit response to emails concerning the doctors in question with these exact situations. If you want doctors that actually value human life I personally would go elsewhere
Im currently here with my mom. They have an 8pm. to 8 am rule where they shut the main doors at 8 supposedly because of covid. They wont even allow ppl on the floors to move around the hospital from floor to floor without leaving the hospital. They need to change their policy and ill be filing a complaint in the morning 🌄

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
