Had emergency Heart Surgery with complete blockage to the widow maker valve to the heart. Truly amazing doctor as I was out of town on business when the episode took place. The doctor and the staff at Baptist Hospital in Oxford, Ms was truly amazing!

My wife is a nurse and helped me find the best specialist with the credentials and reputation to help me with an ongoing health issue. At my first visit, Dr Campbell spent time with me to completely understand my condition and concerns. He is straight forward and set a treatment plan that I feel encouraged about. I have seen other Cardiologist that were good but I felt didn’t listen to my concerns which led to negative effect in my long term care. I feel blessed to have found him!

My husband came in thru the ER with chest pain and shortness of breath. Was admitted and had a nuclear stress test the next day. Was told by a nurse it was inconclusive and he’d need another one the next morning. After that test a nurse came in and said you’re being discharged. No visit by Dr Campbell, no med changes, no referrals. Just come back to the office in 2 weeks. Keep in mind, he continued to have those same symptoms the entire stay in the hospital. Needless to say he won’t make that follow up and is seeing another cardiologist next week.

Dr. Campbell is a professional. He shows compassion and empathy. He explains medical terminology in layman's terms. From my dealings with him, he listens to my concerns. He goes the extra mile whereas other physicians do not. Anyone who wishes to have their cardiovascular needs met, I recommend Dr. Mark Campbell. I am RN and have worked with physicians for a long time. Patient care is a strong strength of Dr. Campbell's as well as education.

In heart failure arrhythmia Dec 2012 hospital. Transferred to out-patient cardiologist who said, "Look, get used to the fact that your husband is going to die!" I then saw Dr. Campbell, who adjusted medications and performed two electrocardioversions, which resulted in normal rhythm and health much improved, until Dr. Campbell moved to North MS. We felt great confidence in this doctor who sorted out what was wrong and treated successfully. I have been unable to find a satisfactory replacement who has a reasonable and acceptable plan that makes sense to me. I am now 1 1/2 years out hospital. Dr. Campbell treated me as a person with concern and long range plan.
