Dr. Byers did surgery on my husband and changed our lives forever. I just want you to know that I have not forgotten. I will never understand why you didn't care enough to check on your patient when it was so obvious that he was in serious trouble. Then you refused to answer my questions when he was laying there on a ventilator fighting for his life. I'll never forget your words when I cornered you in the parking lot and asked you why you didn't come check on him. Your only response was not to focus on the past cause it looks like he's gonna pull through. Well he did but no thanks to you. We will always have to live with the consequences of your actions. I haven't forgotten and I'm reminded every month when I send you money paying you for nearly killing my husband and not caring enough to even come see him. I hope you look back and see that every single month I've paid you, I've never missed a payment for you destroying our lives as we knew it.
