This place is a joke and the nurses and other staff could care less about you!! I was in there from 4am to 11am being patient like I was asked to, I was cold and wanted some fresh air so I let the lady at the desk no I was just stepping out for a sec and gave her my name so she could let them know that I didn’t leave so then I stepped out the door of the er for just a couple minutes no more than 5 then they called my name and instead of just letting me know they moved somebody else in my spot and said that I left which was a lie!
This is the second time in a week I’ve been here because of a car accident. The first time, here, I waited 3 hours before I left. Now here again and it’s been over an hour with one person already waiting. Seriously, the nurse said the night before was rough. I’m sorry for the staff but it’s been really rough for 10 days for me. Urgent Care will not see car accident patients. Ridiculous!
Their service is always slow and inconsiderate. The staff is always in a miserable mood. I have gone here on several different occasions for different people and the help has always been poor. If possible go to another hospital.
My 3yo son had multiple surgeries this morning and from the doctors to the nursing staff and the anesthesiologist team was nothing short of amazing.. they were so warm and welcoming to him.. I was skeptical going in but came out thoroughly satisfied!
When it comes to working for the hospital transportation department ..... Too much favoritism in the department If the supervisor likes you the rules will change, if she doesn't like you the rules will stick! Either you do it or you get written up.... Alot of contradiction with rules and procedures on how the department is ran. If you happen to be a experienced driver voicing your opinion, automatically your called a negative person. Sounds like to me they need to clean house and start over with a more professional outlook on how they run the department to meet the patients Needs!!
My daughter is currently an inpatient. Doctor MJ, the pediatrician, is one of the nicest, most caring doctors I have ever met. You can tell that he truly loves his profession and his patients. Highly intelligent and well spoken, as well. Singing River should be proud to have him.
Horrible hospital, expect at least a 4 to 10 hr wait time in ER. Brought my pregnant wife here, and waited 5 hrs b4 she was ever seen… if you can go anywhere else, it’s probably better
One star is way too generous for this joke of an hospital. Thrice, there was no one at the front desk. Great PR! Before I parked near the ER and entered through the door. The first day was absolutely wonderful and I was wheelchaired up to my mother’s room. Then, the third day, a girl at the desk said that no wheelchair was available for me to visit my mother. She actually said that the hospital would be liable if I fell out of the wheelchair!!! I replied, “What about if I fall down walking with my crutch up to my mother’s room on the hospital’s premises.” Silence. For me, it’s a huge and painful long walk for me to get to visit my mother. I drove down from NYS to receive this treatment? Today, I’m just too exhausted to even see her. Thank you so very much Singing River Hospital for your utter lack of compassion. BTW, why don’t you have someone at the front desk? When I arrived thrice there was no one. Shameful. Absolutely, don’t insult me with one of your useless and stupid responses. Kindly contact me from someone with a half brain or preferably greater, maybe triple digits.
This is absolutely the worst hospital that I've ever been in. The Skilled Nursing program is EXCELLENT. However, the front door reception areas are the worst. I'm handicapped due to numerous reasons and now am using a crutch to hobble around and asked the front desk teenager to request a wheelchair for me to bring me to my mother's room. She said, "No, because I'm not a patient that the hospital doesn't want the liability if I were fall out of the wheelchair." Now, what abject ignorance about the meaning of liability is this. Whomever that lawyer is who concluded this is a numbskull and needs to reenroll back into law school at the very beginning. For example, if I were to fall whilst hobbling to my mother's room after being denied a wheelchair to get there, just whom is liable? The hospital especially after I very nicely requested a wheelchair. Hmm, a liability lawsuit would be smacked onto them. Secondly, the front main entrance wasn't manned for 4 out of my 5 entrances through that MAIN entrance. Of course, no help with a wheelchair, unless someone very kindly brought one to me, for which I was extremely grateful. Maybe the hospital is in such dire need of more patients that they just want people to fall on their premises and risk huge liability lawsuits against them. Lastly, kindly don't send me a "canned reply asking me to call y'all." Just quickly vastly improve your dangerous liability prone policies post haste.
Terribly slow. Rude staff. Biggest mistake was bringing my loved one here. Do yourself a favor and go to Ocean springs if you have to visit the emergency room because you will die waiting at singing river emergency.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
