First, the doctor I had been seeing left the practice so I had to choose a new one. Second, last year I had to wait an hour past my appointment to be seen. This year, I’m on time, the waiting room is packed, so I asked how long of a wait, an hour. Really? Why, did you overbook? No, we’re just running behind and there are 3 people in front of you. Not good that you didn’t bother to call and tell me, or tell me when I arrived on time, that you were running an hour behind and patients are packed in the waiting room like sardines. Cancelled my appointment. Maybe the next person wouldn’t have to wait so long. I’ll find a new doctor. The service is getting very poor at this one and the staff isn’t respectful of their patients time.

I received a text stating the day and time of my appointment (06/29@10:15), however when I got there the office was closed. This was so frustrating to me because I had to travel a great distance across the city. Someone in the office should take a closer look at appointments and scheduling. This was going to be my first visit and I don’t think I’m going to reschedule.

The southaven office is very nice. And I love dr. Ridge, she is very thorough and has helped me with my severe eye issues.
