If you are a woman, READ! This center changed addresses, they are now at 363 south crest circle. If you are female, do NOT waste your time with Dr. Sohail Azam Minhas. I waited for an entire month just to be seen by this specialist, and the first thing he said when he walked into the room was “what’s a pretty young thing like you doing here” (I am 23). I knew how the visit was going to go from there. He didn’t look at any of my medications, didn’t check my photo album of proof of my medical issues, didn’t check my inflamed neck in person, and didn’t listen to a word I said. He was with me for all of 7 minutes, and used that time to tell me there was nothing wrong with me. He said ‘girls my age’ usually have anxiety or depression, and suggested I seek professional mental help. He chocked all my pain and concerns up to me having anxiety and gaining weight because of it. Hilarious of him, since he had literally just confirmed that I was LOSING weight, not gaining any. I’ve been very sick and having trouble keeping food in. He did not even attempt to answer a single medical question I had about why the steroids and medications id been given were making me worse. He told me he would not see me again since I was perfectly fine, and he left. He did not, however, close the door to my room on his way out. I heard him right outside in the hallway talking about me to a nurse. He said “I told that young lady there’s nothing wrong with her, but she’s got the silly idea in her head that something is wrong” and then they lowered their voices to a whisper. Seriously?! It is 2022, and we are STILL treating women who have health problems as if they are simply hysterical??? What a joke, that doctor should not have a license. It is one thing to not know what is wrong, and an entirely different thing to mock a patient for needing medical attention. I waited a month for the chance to get help from a specialist, and THIS is what I got? I left in tears. They should be ashamed.
