This doctor is complete rude. 1st visit with him after I my neurologist referred me to him for my minor stroke, he came in with an attitude. He never even read my file my doctor had sent over. And he acted like I was a major inconvenience to him. I will never see this doctor again, and ill be reporting him to my insurance agency about how unprofessional he was!

I have been a patient of Dr. Gubin's since around 1996 and have found him to be caring, professional, friendly, proactive, responsive and just an all around amazing physician. I have referred many people to him and they all have come back and thanked me for those referrals. He may be a very busy physician, but he will take the time to answer all of your questions and I have found that, while he is proactive, he does not send you for tests or procedures that are not necessary. A blessing to me.

I would not recommend him or ever return to him. I was there to get test results from a 30 day heart monitor. He thought I was there for a medication change. It was very evident that he had not read my chart or had any idea why I was there. Instead of reviewing my chart and results, he told me I was overweight. I’m a size 10 female (30’s) that works out 3x week and have for 3+ years. He had no interest in listening to me or asking questions. Very disappointed.

My GYN made appt. with Dr. Gubin when it was discovered I had A-Fib. Didn't know what to expect. He was an excellent doctor and so positive: "I'm going to get you well" he told me that first day. This man knows his stuff and has excellent bed-side manners! He recommended another Dr. to do the "electrical" stuff, like ablations, and so far, after 2 of them, the last almost 4 years ago, I am fine. I recommended two former co-workers about Gubin and they now have him as their heart doctor!

Dr Gubin attended my 21 year old son for a common condition...but my son was quite frightened to have ANY heart condition at all! Dr Gubin was reassuring and took as much time as needed explaining it and the procedure to correct it. He referred to an EXCELLENT surgeon who was also superior in every way. Kudos to Stern Cardio and Dr Gubin!

Dr. Gubin served as my later mother's cardiologist and for my sister as well. I love his bedside manner, his willingness to assist and his love of the profession. When visiting him, it's not like visiting the doctor, it's like visiting an old friend.
