A previous review stated that she seemed "aggressive." There's a chance that review may have been a mistake & meant for another doctor? I really don't think she has an aggressive bone in her body & can't imagine her treating someone in that way. She takes care of all 4 of my kids & came to the hospital when my youngest 2 were born. I think she truly cares about my kids & is easy to talk to. She tells us treatment options but never pushes anything on us. Our last visit I had a question about the components of a vaccine & she immediately looked it up & found the answer for me. There was a time when I felt uneasy about something & even though nothing could be seen, she trusted (or at least humored) my "motherly instinct" & referred my son out which allowed us to catch something that could have otherwise been missed. She seems genuine & caring & is easy to talk to. She explains things thoroughly, I never feel rushed, & my kids love her. I highly recommend her!

My last visit was a nightmare and that was just from the incompetant rude nurse; and I ended up walking out so angry from what was supposed to be an appointment with Amy Dear-Ruel....and I was hoping that Amy would have called me to find out exactly what happened (the truth) but nope, nothing...ignored and left to be angry. This last horrible experience with the staff and whole appointment experience for Amy Dear-Ruel has left me with an awful taste or overall experience and I would like to change a perfect 5 review I did for Amy before! I am disappointed now and not happy with that doctors office!

I had my yearly wellness exam with Dr. Dear-Ruel and I found her to be very carrying, thoughtful and professional. She was easy to talk to and answered any questions I had. I would highly recommend her.

I saw this woman back before the covid shutdowns and the memory still creeps me out..there is something seriously off with her....she barely listened to what I said and was so aggressive!! The whole time I’m thinking “did I do something wrong?” because she was so mean and cold to me and my kids...what is her problem?? Hate her, never scheduling with her again. Ask for a different doctor!!!
