Took time to exam my ankle and address the issues of instability. Did a great time with follow up and treatment. Ankle good as new now
Gets offended by patient comments and passes it along to his staff. Doesn’t check up on patient
Blew right past problem and got upset he wouldn't be fixing anything either. Then went on vacation.
I have seen this doctor for a broken foot and a trigger thumb tendon release. Followed his orders on my foot and it has healed very well. Surgery to fix the trigger thumb, and was given the option of in-house procedure or hospital procedure. I chose in-house and was awake for the entire procedure. Great doctor to help keep my mind off what was happening and made sure I felt no pain. Since then I have met another person who has seen this doctor for a couple of procedures and she recommended him, as well.
Don't waste your time. This doctor and staff give you a "special" number to call that goes "directly" to them. They never answer it. You have to leave multiple messages over multiple days to get anyone to call you back and even then they can't answer your questions. They take forever to get you back your test results. Take care of yourself by finding a different doctor.
Save yourself the time and hastle. Go somewhere else. This doctor does not return phone calls or give results to tests for up to a week after the test. Find a doctor who cares, because this one doesn't.
I left a review last year but I see it has been deleted. This doctor is horrible. If I could give negative stars I would. He messed up my 4 year old's cast so bad my son was throwing up from crying so hard from the pain. Dr. Richards cast his leg before it time to swell, then split the cast as a "remedy" for the swelling which led to a quarter size heel sore. Thank goodness for Primary Children's who fixed Dr. Richards' mess and had my son running in a new cast within 48 hours. Do not recommend.
Dr Dan Richards is very knowledgeable.
I was referred by many people to see Dr. Richards based on his knowledge and expertise. I was very pleased at the quality of care I received and also the attention given by him and his staff. I have recommended that my mother also see him and will continue to see Dr. Richards when needed. I am able to enjoy mountain biking and running again, where I was not able to prior to my treatment by Dr. Richards.
Excellent Doctor. He really cares and i am so happy i chose to see him. He talked to my about my injury and recommended i wait to see if i really need surgery. He takes a very proactive approach and is very kind. I totally recommend him for sports injuries. He helped me understand my injury and how i could return to racing again.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
