List of Andrew Baugh's Reviews
Dr. Baugh performed my venogram on Sept 30th. While the procedure was fine and uncomplicated, I had issues with his medical notes about our discussion afterwards. I had the venogram to diagnose Nutcracker Syndrome and he said before my procedure that he would try to stent if possible. After the procedure, he went over the findings and possible treatments. He said he was unable to stent due to not having the correct size. He suggested gonadal vein embolism. I told him I didn’t think that would correct my original problem and would essentially be an unnecessary procedure. He asked if I wanted to speak to my husband about available options. I told him yes and also my vascular surgeon. 3 days later, I went to the ER with debilitating pain. The nurse practitioner questioned me over Dr. Baugh’s notes asking why I denied treatment. I explained he tried to stent and could not and that he discussed gonadal vein embolism which I felt would not treat Nutcracker. I said I didn’t deny treatment. After being discharged from the ER, I received some of my medical records including my venogram with Dr. Baugh. He said after the venogram, he went over stenting and gonadal vein embolism but I wanted to speak to my husband and I denied further treatment. His grossly incorrect notes forced me to have to explain myself and my decisions to other medical professionals.
Dr. Baugh performed my venogram. Before the procedure, he discussed with my husband and I that he would try to stent if possible. While I have no issues with the procedure, I have issues with his medical notes pertaining to our discussion afterwards. He went over the venogram findings and a previous ct scan with my husband and I. He said he was unable to stent due to not having the correct size available. I have Nutcracker Syndrome and he suggested gonadal vein embolism. I told him I wasn’t comfortable with that procedure as I didn’t think it would fix the issue with my renal vein and I would most likely need further procedures. He asked if I wanted to discuss with my husband. I said yes, and with my vascular surgeon. I went into the ER a few days later for NCS related pain where I had an F.N.P. grilling me over Dr. Baugh’s notes. I was confused as to the line of questioning until I received my medical records after my ER discharge. He stated I flat out denied further treatment.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
