List of Julie Kuykendall's Reviews
I will update if need be, as I have only just met Kuykendall. I had a lot of questions, and concerns. Dr. K was compassionate and patient and put my mind at ease. I just really liked her, as did my husband. I’m happy with my choice to see Dr. Kuykendall this pregnancy.
I found Dr Kuykendall to be far more interested in finishing her time with me and moving on to her next patient or brushing off my concerns and getting me off her phone. I would not recommend!
Dr. K is a badass in my book. She helped make my journey into becoming a first time Mom very special. She is very knowledgeable and was always able to answer any question or concern that i had. My delivery went smoothly and I healed up very quickly. She is an exceptional obgyn.
It was first pregnancy and I was scheduled with kuykendall. After my first visit I had my sister and later 2 friends tell me she was no good. I stayed with her because I thought it would of been different with me . Long story short I put my baby and myself in danger at delivery time due to her lack competency and carelessness. I didn't initiate a law suit because my baby pull through at the end and that was all that matter to me. I wouldn't recommend her to my worse enemy. Get inf. And read rev
She is a very caring, no nonsense OB. I was in labor for 23 hours and pushed for 4 of those. She was by my side the entire 4 hours. Never was impatient and never pushed me to have a c-section or use the vacuum or forceps. She encouraged me the entire way!! With my second, I pushed for about 5 minutes. She was there too. So caring and patient. Respectful of patients reasonable wishes.
Waited over an hour at my appointments, never actually met with her but a midwife instead, every problem I had she would dismiss as normal regardless of the pain or discomfort, I contracted 2 post c-section infections due to her unsterile practices and was dismissed from her care with a high grade fever, my incision is a zig zag line and in my medical records she stated pulling my incision apart instead of cutting. I never saw her while I was in the hospital except for maybe 3 times and she was never nice a d I never saw her smile. I will never forgive her for ruining the birthING experience of my first child. Do not use her as your doctor.
I went to Julie Kuykendall for my first daughter, I she had been my sister Obgyn for 2 of hers. She was great to my sister and her husband. When I went to her 2 years later, she was rude to my fiancé. Would not talk directly to him or even really make eye contact with him. When it came to me having my daughter I was induced I went in at 5 am got the meds started and noon was the firsts time I seen her. She came in long enough to brake my water then did not return till my daughter was crowning. She delivered my daughter stitched me and I did not see or hear from her again till my post pregnancy appt. Then one of her delivery RNs was very rude to me while I was deciding of an epidural was right for me or not. She even mad me cry I had my mom kick her out of the room till I could claim down. So no I would not recommend her to anyone!!!
I think that she is a fantastic doctor that really cares about her patients and their health. You are more than just a patient to her. She takes the time to sit and talk to you. Her office staff is also excellent at returning phone calls as well as answering questions. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family. She is honestly the best ob-gyn that I have ever gone to.
Dr. Kuykendall accurately diagnosed me with stage IIIB adenocarcenoma of the cervix in less than 2 minutes. She and her staff helped me get set up with a qualified radiation oncologist, medical oncologist and gynecological oncologist and managed my care before, during and after treatment. She is very compassionate and has a wonderful bedside manner. I would and have recommended her to all of my female relatives and friends.
Dr. sent a certified letter dismissing me as a patient after two visits. My first visit was FIVE minutes and went well. I was referred for an ultraound. The the second vist was very different. The Doctor was Not compassionate. Doctor and nurse were both RUDE and insensitive. The doctor and nurse rushed in and out of the treatment room. I was in tears from the pain from a biopsy the whole time. I was given a motrin(?)and a pad for the bleeding. I recieved no pre-op or post-op instructions from the biopsy. I called and spoke to a nurse by phone and asked BEFORE the biopsy for preop instructions and was told "oh, it's nothing to worry about." The attending nurse was too busy on a personal telephone call to answer more than one question. The staff/doctor never called with ANY results. The letter included the results of the biopsy and requested on where to send the records. I'll NEVER recomend this doctor or the nusing staff under her. This doctor knowingly turned a patient away in pain.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
