William Henning's Online Review Report Card

So I had made an appointment for my Husband, the lady that makes the appointments was very rude. Our first initial appointment was made and was not missed we called a week before the appointment to reschedule. We was rescheduled a week later and a bad storm hits. So we called around 8 times starting at 8:00am…then the next day continued to call and no answer at all, each time….Voicemail!! Voicemail!!! We finally get an answer at 4:50pm & the lady was very rude and talked over me even while I asked her to let me finish! So she said he had two no shows even though we called a week in advance to reschedule his first initial appointment. I asked to talk to her Supervisor in which she said it was Dr. Henning, so she put me on hold and came back and said we are sticking with two no shows! This lady is very ignorant and unprofessional! This review is just over his scheduling staff! She is very unprofessional and I can not believe she is still working there! People drive over Two hours to make these appointments! I sure will find my Husband a different more professional Doctor’s office! I think the 1 star is far to much for this office staff!

We had a referral sent to Dr Henning on my mother period We waited a couple weeks before they call this back period They denied her but never told us why. If that's the way they're going to operate than I am glad that they denied her because I don't think I could have trusted the cares they would have given my mom

Dr. Henning as been my neurologist for over 20 years. He is wonderful caring provider. His entire office are helpful whether I am being seen as a patient or refering my patients to their office.

After 3 weeks of waiting for an appointment for my mother in law and multiple calls because no one was calling back. Got a call finally only to be told after reviewing records, they can’t help and suggested two other doctors. And when initially called to ask if they see patients with this condition the answer was yes, now it’s “sometimes”. Unprofessional to say the least!

I’ve seen Dr Henning several times and always very friendly explained everything very well answered all of our question .

My review is not on the doctor but a staff members who ignored me and caused me to lose my appointment. 1st another Dr.'s office made the appt. and told me the date and time which I immediately wrote in my appt, book.. I received a call from Dr. Henning's receptionist confirming the app. and time. I immediately checked the appt. book to make sure I had all info correct and told her I would be there. She then sent me paperwork in the mail, to complete. That was sent out on Friday and I was scheduled to see the Dr. on Monday. I did not receive the papers prior to the appt. time. They were in my mailbox when I returned home. When I walked into the office a dark haired lady was at the window. She looked straight at me as I stood at the window, she then turned around, crossed the room, and sat on the floor. It appeared that she might have been working on files. I waited and waited and waited while she purposely ignored me. I rang the bell a couple times and she continued to ignore me. After about 15 minutes I hit the bell hard enough to get her attention and anyone else in that office. Two other women quickly appeared. The dark haired lady got up walked to the desk and slammed her hand on the file sitting on the desk and said , "that's her's, " and went back to her position on the floor. She obviously knew who I was and I had an appt. with the doctor. She had the papers ready for me. In fact, that is why she was at the desk, she just laid them down when I walked in. I was then told I was 1/2 an hour late for my appt. I told the receptionist the time I was told to be there and I had been on time. She told me I was 1/2 an hour late and the doctor could not see me because he needed an hour to assess me. I was so mad by that time, it took everything I had to leave that office without causing a huge scene. She asked if she could reschedule me and I said, "No, Thank you." I drove 50 miles to see a doctor on time and was treated as if I did not exist. I will never go back there. Then I get home and the papers are in the mailbox. The time was changed and moved up 15 minutes which accounted for the extra 15 minutes they claimed I was late. I do not understand why they would change the time and not call or check with me 1st, especially since they had just spoke to me on the phone to confirm the appt. time and tell me they were sending me papers to fill out.. All I have to say is my time and my gas are also worth something. At the very least I believe I deserve to be treated in a humane manner. The doctor, thanks to his staff, lost out as well. Where were those other two ladies while I stood there. They could have only been a few feet away since they appeared so quickly when I rang the bell. Who lets a patient, who has been experiencing severe chronic pain in their back and legs for months stand at a window for 15 minutes without any acknowledgement of their presence? Why could that employee not have opened the window and told me someone would be with me shortly and then told the other women I was there? If I was the doctor I would fire the dark haired lady and I would also let the other two know there is to be someone at that window at all times. Never will I go back.

Cliff notes version: apathetic, misdiagnoised me, lack of follow-up, unreachable for symptom esclation, just try to see a different doc if you can... Lastly, I have been asking for my records to be released to my new doctor and am still waiting for them 18 months later!!!
