My first appointment with Dr. Bender was in April 2018 his personality was off putting , to me trust is the most important aspect of any relationship none more so that a Doctor patient relationship. To be honest I didn't find Dr. Bender trustworthy. He will order many tests some of which are of questionable value. I think his motivation is running up the largest bill possible. Yes I understand the new protocols for pain meds, however he will make you crazy coming every two weeks to get a refill. Not a nice man. In my opinion you will be better off with a more humane Doctor. On a scale of 10 I would give him a 1.

My favorite Dr. He takes his time and explains everything. He also listens which is a rare quality for doctors nowadays. He is not a pill pusher which I love.

He is an amazing Doctor. He is so compassionate and truly cares about each and every patient. He has the best way of explaining things so you really understand how your body works. He doesn't judge people for the level of Ian they are in. He takes his time with you and he doesn't rush through your appointment.

Dr. Brett Bender is an exceptional physician whom I would recommend without hesitation to anyone dealing with pain and/or discomfort issues! After four total joint replacements, all by fine surgeons, it's become paramount to address arthritis throughout my spine -- Dr. Bender is genuinely interested in finding answers best for me. He is compassionate, wise and thorough ... I could ask for no more! May he enjoy a happily long and healthy life.
