Online Reviews Breakdown
List of Linda Ries's Reviews
Her staff keeps her so out of the loop that she called a patient two weeks after their death asking how her pain management was going. This was after WEEKS of desperately calling Dr Ries, only to be told by her staff it wasn't an emergency. Thanks, Brenda!
Fantastic doctor with a staff that will so effectively keep her out of the loops that she will call a patient two weeks after their death to check on pain management despite both the office being informed of her patient's passing and the weeks of answered desperate calls that her nurse Brenda always redirected and we never heard back. She had no involvement in her patient's end of life care and didn't even know.
I have total confidence and trust in her. She has also worked well with the place I went to have a second opinion to to have radiation treatments and they worked as a great team to develop a plan of action for my particular cancer. I would recommend her to anybody.
She is very thorough in her explanation of my condition, treatment and all test results. Even more, she is the only real doctor I've seen in this town and I've had many appointments with....nurse practitioners. She is gente, friendly and even takes the time to look beautiful, which is refreshing and welcome for someone suffering from a serious illness. NPs and PAs are trained, doctors are educated. NPs are useful when there aren't a any doctors available and work hard but they lack the ability to see the whole picture. They just follow protocol. There is a big difference. To be able to see someone who has gone trough the rigors of a pre-med bachelors degree and the grueling demands of medical school and internship is vital for helping someone dealing with numerous complicated medical conditions.
I am very please with Dr. Reis, she is an outstanding Doctor and very understanding. She is very willing to answer questions and takes the time to do so. I have to say I don't think I could have picked a better oncologist to be on my cancer team and I would recommend her to anyone.
As an Oncologist, Dr Ries can be very understanding and compassionate, especially when all treatments have failed. She truly cares about her patients. Know your facts through personal research, be direct with questions and keep good notes. I would recommend her as an Oncologist.
This woman is just prancing around in her cute little clothes posing as a caring Dr with compassion for anyone but herself!! wow. I am very very very sorry to anyone who has Dr. Linda Ries for an Oncologist. She will not give answers, when anyone gets upset she tells you to please stop yelling at her now....yelling? who is yelling...people are upset...they have cancer you moron!! Will not give straight answers to you no matter what...then when pushed farther...she will tell you to go see your family physician (hmmm maybe her husband??) she is rude, arrogant and unfortunately has lots of years left with which to ruin Cancer patients expectations of a good Dr. Do not expect anything postive with her.
Although very personable, her behavior has resulted in a lack of trust. In one vist she will state one thing, but in future visits will either deny having said it or say "you must have misunderstood" or "if I said it, it's not what I meant". She would not provide survival rates for my type and stage of cancer, saying "I don't believe in numbers". She is hesitant to give all the facts, and at times appears to distort them to meet her goals. The chemotherapy clinic nurses and clerical staff are excellent.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
