List of Phillip A. Gardner's Reviews
Excellent Dr. I just had a tonsillectomy and he did a great job. Minimal pain. He is a calm and quiet guy and seems like a very kind person. I would definitely recommend.
Both my son and I have been patients of Dr. Gardner and I would highly recommend him and his office. He was patient and thorough with exams and explanations, his office was professional, efficient, and easy to work with. I enjoyed his calm demeanor and he suggested we try multiple non-surgical treatments prior to jumping in and suggesting surgery. While the non-surgical options did not work well enough in my case and surgery was required, he and his office were great.
Dr. Gardner is very caring and is conservative in his surgical approach trying other avenues first. He is current and has a kind demeanor. His staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend this office
I went in to dr gardners office with concerns about possibly having some type of throat or oral cancer. I explained everything to him and he didnt seem like he was listening at all. had a soft and quiet demeanor and barely looked in my ear nose or throat . He just suggested getting my tonsils out and then left the office. Barely spent five minutes with me. I am currently in the process of looking for a different ENT wouldnt suggest
Dr Gardner treated my daughter regarding ear infections. He explained the situation in terms I could understand and answered my questions thoroughly.
I would not recommend Dr. Gardner. I have damage to my inner ear. Dr. Gardner looked in my ears and said nothing. Told me to talk to another department. He walked out - I thought he was coming back. When the nurse came in and said I was done I asked if he had written anything about how my ears looked. She said no. I told her I needed to speak to him. She went to get him. He did not come back. He told her my ears were fine. Not only maddening, but unprofessional. (Staff was great though).
A very dishonest man. Attempts to give expensive and dangerous surgeries without providing accurate information to his potential patients. I will make sure to send everyone I know to a healthcare provider with ethical standards.
After 2 full cat scans 3 months apart, which insurance only covered one, on a 3rd visit after 2 bouts of medication did not work, took him less than 2 minutes to then tell me I have a deviated septum. Very frustrated as I now have a huge medical bill with RMENT for no reason. Failure to appropriately diagnose initially ended up costing me alot of out of pocket money
Good surgeon. Good with kids. The only problem is getting help if you have any questions or something goes wrong after surgery. I have two family members who have had a surgery done by him, and both times they had to wait a day or two to even get a call returned. This may have more to do with the staff at Missoula ENT than Dr Gardner himself though.
Very nice and professional doctor and staff. Would definately recommend to everyone.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
