4 years ago I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease in my neck on 2 levels. I am from Missoula, and was told by 2 separate doctors here that I needed a fusion. After doing my own research, I really wanted to have synthetic discs. I found out Mobi-C was now approved for 2 levels. At the time no surgeon in Missoula would do, or was trained to do this procedure. I thought I would have to go out of state to get it done. Then I found Dr. Day. He is the only surgeon offering synthetic discs in the area. Recovery time is faster and the outcome with mobility and preservation of surrounding discs is better. He and his staff are very friendly and professional. It did take some time to get in, but that’s because he’s in such high demand. He is an excellent surgeon, and came highly recommended to me from others in the medical field. He did an excellent job on my neck, and I am still happy after 4 years. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Dr Day is great! He is extra cautious and picky he has it his way with how he wants things to go. Very thorough. His NP Nick is a blessing too all his staff are wonderful and the team in surgery. I forgot all names except DrDay andNick but the other nurse with the nice eyes all concerned I’m in pain but that’s what is supposed to happen. Thanks everyone your all number1 in my eyes.

Refused referral due to insurance pending, wouldn't even see us! All he cares about is money. They told us to go to a Dr that isn't even ilocated in this state. I would give no stars if I could. This was my second encounter with this Dr. Both were bad. Do your research before going here!!!

Dr. Day did surgery on me two years ago. I was very pleased with his professionalism and skill then. I have seen him on follow-ups and check-ins periodically as my back has continued to give me issues. Dr. Day was phenomenal today when I saw him to discuss my latest issues. I felt like he really empathized with my status as a return customer due to my back (not anything to do with my initial surgery or issue!), and laid out options and pertinent, well-grounded medical advice. He was very supportive and I appreciate his experience.
