Dr. Lay was my care provider at the Fort Harrison VA in Montana. I'm in my 70's and have had a fair number of doctors in my life. She is without a doubt the most caring I have had. I highly recommend her! I'm sad she is no longer my provider. I wish her well in her new practice.

Dr. Cathy Lay who is now practicing at the Helena VA gave my father a standard mental heath evaluation, it takes just minuets to complete. She has seen my Father before on 3 separate appointments over 9 months. She does not know my Father and she did not take the time at this most serious appointment to question him appropriately to be able to make such a serious life changing diagnosis.

Dr. Lay is currently practicing medicine at Fort Harrison Veteran's Hospital. She saw my 89 year old father three times and agreed to sign off on his request to be determined competent. My father had a POA and a Medical Power of Attorney that our entire family had set in place to protect him a year ago. Having seen our father three times, she signed a mini mental exam that allowed him to revoke my sister's POA, thus leaving him vulnerable to unscrupulous folks.

I hate doctors -- having had many bad experiences with them. However, I have been going to Dr. Hurray now for about 8 years, and she is phenomenal! She has literally saved my life at least twice.

There are very few doctors left that sincerely care about their patients. Dr. Hurray is one of a kind and will go above and beyond to take care of pt's needs.
