Mark A. Mozer's Online Review Report Card

I’ve never gone out of my way to post a review about a medical professional but my experience is something I’ve never experienced. I fully believe that psychiatric professionals should continue doing research beyond what they learned 20 years ago out of the DSM-5 when they initially got their degree, as new data comes out on mental illness so frequently. I won’t go into depth about my aliments but I’ve seen quite a few psychiatrist none the less have I ever felt so diminished and dismissed by a “professional”. He completely ignored why I was in there, claiming he wasn’t going to prescribe me what I wanted but what he “thought was best” , of course after his 20 minutes of listening to me he knows me best. Not only that he kept exclaiming that he “wasnt judging me” only after 5 minutes of me explaining he was completely judging me then basically ADMITTING to judging me for the medication I wanted to try after my many failed medication concoctions prescribed by the other professionals. Don’t go to someone to doesn’t truly listen to you, doesn’t ask the right questions and doesn’t think you know your body / mind best.

Steer clear. Mozer grossly ignored my daughter’s disability and was condescending, pompous and completely indifferent. He’s extremely disorganized as well. Horrible experience.

Best psychiatrist ever!!

I know someone personally that went to him with high anxiety and depression. He saw her for 40 min and all he did was prescribe her medication. Didn’t ask any real questions at all. His staff helped her out more than he did. She had to go find someone else immediately to get the help she needed. He charged her $300 for 40 min of nothing. Zero stars if I could!

My wife had a severe anxiety attack, bad enough that she spent the day in the the St. Peter’s ER. We were referred to the Psychiatry unit but the recommended Dr. was not available, so we made an appointment with Dr. Mozer. During the interview he said about 10 words, as my wife explained her situation. At the time she had the shakes so bad her hands were in constant motion. He said “yup” and ‘Okay” and grunted a lot. The thing that really was bizarre was that during the entire 30 minutes he spent with us, he was either picking his nose or cleaning his fingernails. That is not B.S. I was disgusted. He prescribed two types of medication and said see me in a month! My wife was shaking like a leaf and had “ bad thoughts.” What a great help. Two days later, my wife was still in bad shape. I called and asked what should I do. The next day he called back and doubled her prescription. Take more pills !!! This man is a disgrace to the profession. We have since found competent help and they cannot believe how we were treated. St. Peter’s does not have a wonderful reputation compared to other Montana Hospitals, this man surely contributes to that problem.

Great Dr he really cares about health care very kind and treats you like someone with feelings and most important he is very good on diagnosis he's patients just can't thank him enough for all the care he has put into my health care.he also is so friendly. And has made time for me in quite a few matters in my life

Met with me to determine eligibility for disability, determined based on a 1/2 hour appt first thing in the morning, despite 15 years of severe bed confining major fatigue, that I could work based on having me repeat back a few numbers. Ignored obvious symptoms but rather since I read spiritual books and have looked up my condition, after being told what it was and diagnosed by a doctor, that I was just making everything up? Well I’ll be sure to bring up religious discrimination at the hearing!

My Fiance's Dr., is DR. MOZER, She always has said she adores him and I love him for his helping my Fiance's life get better and not just treating her like another patient... THANKS FOR EVERYTHING DR. MOZER... YOU'RE BIGGEST FANS

Very nice physician but his staff is awful. I can't get my prescriptions refilled (once taking 3 weeks!) and they do not return phone calls. I have finally had to file an official complaint as I am yet again, without my medication for over a week. I will be switching my care. I hope Dr. Mozer or St. Peter's can address their staffing issue and get rid of the people who don't seem to want to do their job, because Dr. Mozer himself seems like a helpful person.

I was referred by my primary to Dr Mozer. I initially had been diagnosed with generalized anxiety but after being with her for awhile she felt that there was a possibility I had PTSD stemming from a couple traumatic events years previously. My initial visit did not go well. I proceeded to talk about why I was there and the traumatic events behind my visit and was getting emotional. He quickly changed the subject and proceeded to talk about himself, his family and other completely non related topics. It was honestly completely bazaar, I felt like I was his psychiatrist and not the other way around. I decided to stick it out and give him another chance. I had a few follow up visits and it was clear he had no interest digging into mental issues at all, the couple times I saw him he was staring at his laptop in complete disinterest to what I had to say and sticks to his own basic preconceived notions of what your issue may be. As a patient and if you want to get to the root of your problems to find answers that will help and solutions to get better my recommendation is don't see Doctor Mozer. Your wasting your valuable time and money.
