I was in hospital earlier this year with a serious infection i was given antibiotics that put me in total kidney failure to my already damage kidneys. Dr. Golden put a catheter in my neck for dialysis so I wouldn't have to be stuck with needle each dialysis. When I went to his office for follow up his first words to me was "wow you look great I thought you was a goner I've been praying for you"! That was it for me he will be my doctor, my familys & anybody I can send his way.

Dr. Golden treated my husband for a condition he has had for years, we have been told by doctors and specialists alike that this is something, that is just going to happen and there is nothing he can do to prevent it from happening. After his 3rd, small bowel blockage, and our 3rd hospital stay, we were blessed that Dr. Golden was on call that night, in the ER. He was very knowledgeable, very understanding, and very compassionate. He gave us options and told us what to expect, he was not quick to jump to surgery but said he would if necessary. Well necessary became a reality and my husband under went major surgery. Dr. Golden said this was a surgery that should have happened years ago and my husband had 35+ years of scar tissue on his intestinal wall. My husband feels like a new man. We do and will continue to see Dr. Golden. He truly wants to help people and he was one of the most humble doctors I have ever meant. If only everyone could be like him.

Dr. Golden performed a surgery on my teenage son. His bedside manner is fantastic, and we couldn't be happier with his care. I wish all doctors would take note of his professional yet caring ways. Great Job!

While treating with Dr. Golden, my family experienced a level of quality healthcare previously unknown to us. My father had been treating at a large, well known university hospital in Tennessee, and became unhappy with the care that he was receiving. We were referred to Dr. Golden by a mutual friend and were absolutely delighted with our experience with him. We drove from Tennessee to Kentucky for appointments, and would not hesitate to do so again in the future, should the need arise.

He lied to me about my intestine being ruptured and refused to operate til I got insurance. Four days later the hospital got me insured, by then I was almost septic. He did such a bad job, my colostomy leaked stool into my abdomine. I requested another, more experience surgeon. My daughter, who is NOT a nurse, complained about my care. Dr. GOLDEN THEN TRIED TO GET MY OTHER DAUGHTER WHO IS A NURSE FIRED. I will never let him touch me again nor recommend him to anyone. I wish I could rate no stars
