If I could give a 0 star rating I would. I waited 3 months to even get a consultation, was told I had to wait 30 days for the surgery. I was called barely a week later with a pre-op and operation date for less than 2 weeks later. When i showed up for the pre-op, I was informed that they had made a mistake and I did have to wait the 30 days. So they reschedule me for 2 weeks later. The day before that appointment they called and postponed my surgery AGAIN. For another month. Then they have the audacity to be taken aback when I get severely upset. Seeing as how not getting this procedure is directly affecting my girlfriend's health, maybe they would understand my frustration. Seeing as how they made the mistake TWICE and taking NO RESPONSIBILITY for what they did maybe they would understand my frustration. But no. Instead they cowered from their own actions and refused services to me. The ONLY Medicaid urologist in the city, which means now I can't get the procedure I need because of sheer cowardice. I never threatened anyone. I never even got to speak to the doctor who will now no longer serve me. But no one told me that. The last i heard was I was waiting on another appointment. So i called and left a message and got a call back from a "director" who is going to fight for my behalf to get me back in. She "will call me back tomorrow". Didn't hear from her for 5 days and I finally called and left her a message. She called back with a "Well he doesn't feel like he could help you". Why? Did he forget how to do his job? And extremely strange considering he was NEVER even in the conversation. St. Pete's definitely deserves the bad reputation I have heard ever since I moved here and I will NEVER go back. I recommend that no one else does either. Don't support people that won't even take responsibility for their own actions even to the detriment of someone's health.
I went into the ER with a kidney stone. Dr. Grossman was the physician on call. I was to get into his office immediately the following day as he felt it needed emergency attention. I called, and he was on vacation. I got in with an urologist in Butte, and was taken care of. I found a great urologist. I would never suggest anyone to go to Grossman.
Needed acute attention from urologist and Dr Grossman’s office could do no better than an appointment three weeks out. Helena is in dire need of a good urology specialist! Luckily I was able to get care quickly out of town by an excellent doctor and good hospital. This reflects so poorly on St Peters medical care!
Dr. Grossman is the only Urologist in Helena. Perhaps this is why he was not present in surgery recuperation the morning after surgery that the Terp failed and the uretha totally colapsed. The nurses were not allowed to insert a cat herder without him! and he could not be reached by phone. With his arrival 3 hr. after the collapse I over filled the container they gave me. Two weeks latter we met and he could give no reason for not being there!
My husband is an established patient with Dr. Grossman and has had 26 kidney stones in the last 33 years. He is currently having problems that show he has another possible stone. Rhonda, the receptionist was not willing to give my husband an appointment to see the Doctor, nor were they willing to do a simple x-ray to see if there is an active stone. The only help he was offered was to go to the ER, or his primary doctor. Why should my husband go to the ER when he is established with Dr. Grossman? I cannot even give a one star rating for the way he was treated by Rhonda and nursing staff. I am happy to report that we will no longer be seeing Dr. Grossman and was able to get an appointment with another urologist that was able to get him an appointment in a timely fashion and will now continue his care. I would like to add that Dr. Grossman has only a three star rating. Maybe this is the reason!!
Overall not good. Didn't appear concerned about my condition. Said he may do additional tests and forgot. Has Dr. Mow fill in for him and Dr. Mow didn't review my records before seeing my for my last 2 annual appointments.
Experience with Dr Grossman was ok, but I felt the front desk staffer was very rude and condescending. They screwed up billing and i never got a bill because they sent it to my old address. Rather than just pick up the phone and call me, they simply turned me over to a collection agency! They had a phone#. For a bill that THEY sent to an incorrect address. All for less than 200 bucks. The whole thing was completely disfunctional and very unprofessional. Took a dozen calls and 14 mo. to clear up.
Did a great job, explained everything in a way I could understand.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
