"Dr. Lustig and his office are aweful. Do not take your child to him! Multiple breaks in communication from office staff to scheduling to the actual procedure. His office staff said one thing, the scheduler did another and the he took it to a whole new level of not sedating my child when we had been told they would be sedated. He then shamed my child and terrorized him to try and still do the procedure unsedated. It was aweful!!! My child is so tramatised from this. We will find someone else for any future problems and I strongly urge you find someone else now."

Wish there were negative ratings!!! 1) treated me like I didn’t know anything about my body and how I felt- telling me at age 17, I ate a yellow sucker for breakfast instead of acid reflux. 2) went in for an endoscope and they LEFT a biopsy METAL square enlodged in my esophagus. This doctor treated me like I didn't know my own body at age 17 accusing me of eating a yellow sucker making my tongue yellow, instead of the actual reason- acid reflux. I went for a endoscope and he LEFT a biopsy metal square ENLODGED in my throat which I coughed up a few weeks later. They told me my throat shouldn't hurt that much and that I probably had a cold.

At our last visit with my son who is overweight and was told that day he is too heavy and pushing type 2 diabetes and needs to lose the calories and carbs immediately. I am also overweight and have struggled with eating disorders my entire life and so has my 110 lb girlfriend.....we all left feeling body shamed. He also said I was using my ex as a scapegoat as to how my son ate and functioned at his home when I cannot control how he raises them there(Dad is on the KETO diet and the kids have no healthy food to eat) Our other son has gained over 20# since with him). I am not pleased with his bedside manner at all. My son who suffers from major depression is now even more depressed because he feels like a huge failure because he’s too big and eats healthy and is active but stills gains the weight. Lustig is quite abrasive. I think we need to find a new Dr!
