List of James Cromie's Reviews
Dr Cromie removed a growth from my parathyroid gland in 2017 while practicing in Vermont. I was a self referred patient because no other doctors believed me when I told them the symptoms I was experiencing were making me physically sick. Most doctors either attributed my condition to psychosomatic illness or wanted to treat it with increased vitamin D intake. Dr Cromie was a breath of fresh air in validating my concerns and then expertly diagnosing my condition and surgically treating it. Vermont's loss is Montana's gain in Dr Cromie.
Very satisfying consult respecting some curious symptoms. Seems like a very good diagnostician. Good manner and very reassuring.
I was referred to Dr. Cromie by my endocrinologist for a parathyroid operation. He is a very pleasant, amazingly modest, knowledgeable young doctor. He went to a lot of trouble to both listen to my questions and explain the procedures. As a surgeon he was very enthusiastic and skillful, leaving minimal scaring, but also took the time to be reassuring and patient with the anxieties of an older nervous patient. I just hope Rutland will provide enough opportunities so he stays in the region.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
