Excellent is an understatement but I go back a couple of decades when he suggested a new surgery for my knee that at that time was cutting edge and a great option to another new procedure being touted at the time. My knee was bone on bone because of years of baseball catching from jr high through four years of college. One surgeon was advocating micro fracture in 2001 in its very very infancy. It basically meant you let the surgeon drill hundreds of tiny holes in your knee with the hope they would fill with new bone and restore your knee. It’s the same surgery that failed for Ohio State star Greg Oden. The biggest problem is it was all or nothing. It worked and you recovered or you had no second option. Dr Stimpson however suggested the osteochondrial allograft. That basically meant a transplant of the bone of top of the femur bone and the surrounding ligaments and cartilage. We chose that and 21 years later I’m still walking pain free thanks to Dr Stimpson and his choices

Dr. Stimpson did surgery on both my knees for torn medial meniscus. The 1 knee was a very old injury and the medial meniscus should have been replaced. Not only did he not do that, he did not start me on physical therapy for three whole months! By that time my knees were locking up badly. I would not recommend this guy to anyone! He's in it for the money! Before the surgery he was all friendly and gave me a lot of time. After the surgery the appointments were 5 minutes! I had my surgery 5 years ago and I still am consumed with pain and have been for all of those 5 years!

I would recommend him to anyone he fixed my shoulder that I had two surgeries on the first surgery was by the military the second one was Dr stimpson I now have full range of motion and no pain at all

Dr. Kim Stimpson is a Dr. I would definitely recommend to family, friends, and everyone. I have suffered for years with back pain, severe headaches, and neck pain that no doctor seemed to want to or care to figure out the cause and end my painful existence. My shoulder started being painful, with pain and numbness down my arm, so I was referred to Dr. Stimpson who had several tests done while saying he believed the problem was my back and/or neck. He found he was correct and God Bless this man who has now referred me to a Neuro surgeon. This doctor took the time, did tests and found the problem that makes him #1 in my book.

Decided on my first visit I was a fruitcake and didn't know what I was talking about. Visited him numerous times for the same issue. On one visit he gave me a book on back exercises and told me if I did these I'd have no further problems. 8 years later, I have no cartilage under my knee caps, thanks to an MRI by my primary. Its a shame Dr. Stimpson couldn't catch this years ago and given me a better quality of life.

Dr. Stimpson surgically cleaned up a torn up shoulder. He told me I would probably not get back 100% mobility because he had to remove a small amount of muscle. But if I haven't gotten back 100% its certainly 99.99%. His staff is fantastic also. I wish I had waited to see him for my ankle instead of letting the appt staff talk me into seeing another doctor in his office.

Dr. Stimpson did an outstanding job repairing my rotator cuff. I recommend him highly. He was referred to me by my physical therapist. He's a skilled surgeon, he took a lot of time answering my questions, gave me a easy to follow pre and post surgery plans. The out come of my surgery was very positive and now I'm on the road to fully recover by summer...which was my goal. Also I really liked how I never had to wait...all my appointments started at the scheduled time...this is very rare. His entire staff was friendly, professional and skilled.

I have had a great experience with Dr. Stimpson. He explains details well, is very kind, helpful and professional. He is also a fantastic surgeon.

He did a great job on my shoulder replacement. Its been over a year now and have had no problems. I am going back for work on my knee.
