Mark Magill's Online Review Report Card

I had a traumatic fall down a flight of stairs resulting in an excruciating break of my right ankle and fracture in my leg. Dr. Mark Magill put me back together again and despite the extent of my injury, I recovered well, the most pain being at the beginning, and learned how to walk again with no discomfort. I am grateful for the expertise and care I received. I'd also like to convey my gratitude towards a MA that works at Dr. Magill's clinic. Heather was remarkable and has a superior bedside manner. My fall resulted in some PTSD, and my first appointment filled me with anxiety. Heather knew just what to do to direct me to a state of calm. In all my years of being in/out of hospitals I have never come across a Nurse or MA as compassionate or as empathetic as Heather.

I quite like Dr. McGill, he helped me with a broken fibula after my dog knocked my foot off my leg (dislocated foot)! My former foot doctor told me, "If you ever require surgery, you need Dr. McGill." Great, I already know him! I had fusions on my 4th toes as a teenager, that caused stress fractures in my foot & eventually, turned like a spike, under my 3rd toe, causing a painful ulcer! In speaking with Dr. McGill, I used my hand to express where I was certain the spike would have to be removed, down at my foot. I had a bunion & hammertoe on same foot he wouldn't even discuss fixing while I was in surgery. He did NOT take the full spike out that continued to be so sore, I had to have a 2nd surgery to removed the remaining spike, as well as the bunionectomy & hammertoe repair, down at St. Luke's in Ronan (from their courtesy with me, any further hospitalization I'll be needing, will be taking to St. Luke)! Dr. McGill always presented himself professional & so too, his staff, but since when hasn't the customer been right? Sincerely, Jerrie Newton

HORRIBLE Experience! I went to Magill with SEVERE ankle pain lasting over a year. I had already had X-rays, MRI & CT scan, but without even looking at my records he briefly looked at my ankle offered me a HEAVY HEAVY HEAVY boot & with no further interaction left. The caused me so much pain from the heavy boot that I wash crying in SEVERE pain trying to get out of the office under my own power. The staff finally had to wheel out of the office, but he couldn't be bothered to follow up and find out why I was on the verge of passing out in his office. We poor, unwashed masses on public insurance apparently are not worth his time or energy. This is no less than Malpractice. He obviously doesn't remembered the Hippocratic Oath he took. This review should NOT reflect badly on other doctors at that practice. I have received great treatment from them despite being on public insurance then also. As a result of Magills malpractice I can never be confident of treatment at this office again.

Fantastic surgeon. I had broken a bone in my foot and it was misdiagnosed so a year went by before I had the surgery. It was pain free too. Very nice person.

Dr. Magill was my mom's surgeon. He took his time to answer all of her questions before surgery, he was very patient, and he gave clear answers. After her surgery, he briefly sat down with me to explain her condition and how the surgery went. Excellent bedside manner. Would recommend.
