She initially talks a good story; I will take care of you. Right! After months of tests, of which she knew from the first one what needed to be done. She was only interested in the $$$ she gets from all the tests. The patient does not matter to her. I rate her a Big 0 on a scale of one to ten. I never got the surgery she told me I needed and was told would be done asap. Please look elsewhere for a good doctor.

She did a procedure on me that was previously done with severe pain and l was very scared of having it repeated. Dr. Martin did same procedure with virtually no pain or side affects and l am grateful to have had her as my surgeon.

My opinion, observations and experience is the only metric in this review. If you are in need of a urologist in W. Montana/N. Idaho you need to read this whole thing. Short: Dr. Martin is a Godsend and if you choose anyone else you'll be knowingly choosing less than the best the Flathead Valley has to offer. Long: I've not been to all the urologists in the Flathead Valley however after what I recently went through, I can confidently state that I will not consider being seen by any other urologist in the northwestern quadrant of the lower 48. I live 12 hours away and was on vacation for the 4th of July when I began to feel severe discomfort. It got to the point where my wife drove me to the ER in Libby. I was given a temporary fix to limp me along until I could be seen by a specialist. The following night I was back in the Libby ER. They transferred me to be seen by a different urologist who first had us stop by the Kalispell ER where I was misdiagnosed by a technician (never saw the other urologist) and sent home. I endured intense pain from that Saturday night until Tuesday when the urology office opened back up after the holiday. I walked in at ~930a to find that Dr. Martin was beyond busy. I explained my medical situation to the receptionist explaining that if I couldn't be seen I'd drive to Spokane, WA ~4.5h away in my very bumpy F350. The lady told me to standby while she went back to discuss it with Dr. Martin. The lady came back and told me even though Dr. Martin was beyond booked out for the day she would squeeze me in at 1:30p. When I came back at 1:15p Dr. Martin saw me almost immediately. She assessed what the issue was and confirmed it was what I was transferred from Libby for. She sent me over to the Kalispell Hospital (next door) for imaging to determine how emergent my situation was and upon return explained everything to me so that I understood what had happened, and the path going forward for corrective surgery. She scheduled me for surgery to take place w/in 36 hours and left no question unanswered. It was the first time I've had a surgeon/specialist treat me like a human rather than cattle. Somehow she expeditiously assessed me, determined and scheduled a course of action, answered all of my questions, calmed all of my concerns and those of my worried wife, and engaged in superbly friendly discourse. Dr. Martin assured us that if my condition became emergent that she would be there in a flash to perform the surgery earlier than scheduled. I left that apt feeling I'd just been listened to by a medical professional for the first time in my life. My wife and I both couldn't believe how attentive and professional Dr. Martin was. She even put up with our quips at being "Doc Martin" (a reference to the British television show). The hour of surgery arrived and Dr. Martin and accompanying staff was beyond stellar. They were the embodiment of delightful, upbeat, medical professionals who just by observation all could tell were confident and competent in their practice. Once again Dr. Martin ensured that I understood each phase of the procedure, the recovery, what to expect in the coming weeks, and how best to behave for success and complete recovery. I'm convinced there is no way to properly describe the difference in how I felt prior to and immediately after the surgery. But I'll try: the difference between eating raw "past due" kale vs your favorite ice cream, being broken down on the side of the road in a blizzard vs by the fire in a warm blanket with hot cocoa, and lastly being blamed for something at work the office dunce did whilst you were on vacation vs being recognized for the hard work you put in around here with an on the spot 10% raise. When I left the hospital sore, bandaged up every which way and all- I felt like a million bucks in comparison. In closing, Dr. Martin is top shelf, I'm convinced you'll not have a better experience somewhere else. I firmly believe you will have a similarly positive experience should you choose 'Doc Martin'! Thank you!

Dr Martin has a heart of gold. Her bedside manner goes above and beyond. She gives you 110% of her attention and listens to your every word. Dr Martin makes you feel so comfortable with her. I wish all doctors had her compassion. Dr Martin is my Rock Star!

Dr. Martin performed a bladder lift after years of leaking and frustration with others urologists. I’ve got my life back and able to enjoy activities and events without fear of leakage and embarrassment. Dr. Martin thoroughly explained my options and addressed my concerns and questions. Her skilled surgical technique and accuracy helped to reduce my recovery time. I highly recommend Dr. Martin. I trust and respect her medical judgement and her abilities.

I have seen Dr Martin several times. she is always considerate and listens to me about my afflictions. She thinks outside the box and knows how to best prescribe meds for my issues. I have complete confidence in her abilities and recommend her without question.

I had what turned out to be a rather large kidney stone and was in excruciating pain. Dr. Martin wasted no time in getting me to surgery and removing the source of my pain. She is very personable and has an excellent bedside manner. I will recommend her to any friends or family ever in need of a urologist.
