Dr Sarah Sanders left John Muir Health a couple of years ago. Where is she practicing now?
I'm a new Kaiser member as of Jan. '20. I scheduled my PCP and OB initial appointments. My appt with my OB was helpful, informative, and she took time to answer my questions. Days later I met with Dr. Sanders for the 1st time and her demeanor was appalling. I had a small sticky note with me with the 4 health issues I wanted to ensure I discussed with her. She was extremely rushed and impatient. When she hurriedly and inadequately answered one question, I looked at my paper and said I had a few more things and she snapped, "Let's stay focused!" What? I literally had a list of 4 bullet points so that it would be a focused and intentional visit. It was rude and condescending, not to mention it was inaccurate. There was no lack of focus on my part, there was a lack of professionalism on her part. I changed PCPs right away. My husband dropped her as his PCP before even meeting her based on how unprofessional she behaved at my appointment. Her social skills are woefully inadequate.
I have never been treated so rudely by a medical professional. I came in for what I thought would be a quick and easy visit. I needed blood work and stool tests ordered. Reasonably she asked for some history but as I started explaining, she got flustered. She told me that if I was going to do a stool test that i shouldn’t put plastic pieces in the sample because she wouldn’t be fooled by them. Why in the world would I put plastic in a stool sample?? In the end she ended up opening the door, stomping into the hallway and telling me that my visit was over. When I asked her to please come in to finish the visit, she said that some people just can’t be helped and that i needed to leave. I left with a recommendation to take vit d. Only after I complained did she order me the tests I needed. Maybe she was having a bad day but she should not have taken it out in a patient. So unprofessional and rude. She is definitely in the wrong profession.
My wife and I love this lady! She's smart! She's funny! She listens! She cares!! She knows her stuff. I could go on and on! The best doctor either of us ever had. Her assistant, Lisa, is pretty darn amazing herself.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Sanders for approximately a year and a half, and I couldn’t be happier. She’s always been thorough and taken the time to answer questions and provide an explanation when necessary. I feel lucky to have found her.
She’s more concerned with her scribe taking notes than the patient’s concerns. Very disheartening.
Dr. Sanders is very attentive and thorough. Due to this professional caring attitude I'm able to send this text. She actually saved my life.
Awesome! Took time to educate, answer questions and even asked if I wanted a physical at my new patient visit. Kindly declined the physical but I did ask for lab slip to have routine blood work done and Dr. Sanders had no issue providing that.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
