It was very disappointing. He was quick to waist my time by having me explain to him what was going on. He didn't even seem to care about my situation at all after he had me explain my situation to him. After listening to me he did an exam and lets just say he ain't very thorough when it comes to examining a patient. He made is seem like I was wasting his time because he had already seen my x rays and they were normal. Just because my x rays were normal doesn't mean that there isn't something wrong with me and that I'm not in some sort of pain. I had a follow up with my doctor today and she is still trying to figure out what's causing my pain and what's going on with my body because it's not normal for a persons hips to constantly be popping, or for them to be hurting in the thighs and because my thighs shouldn't be tight and stiff all the time. It's not normal for a persons body to constantly be in some sort of pain from the time they wake up to the time they go to bed. If you ever have to go see this doctor you better have something severely wrong with you and you better hope that your x rays show that there is actually something severely wrong with you because otherwise he ain't going to be sympathetic in anyway at all and he likes to tell his patients to deal with their pain, problems and then he rudely says things like this (oh it's easy for me to sit here and say that) to the patients after telling them to deal with there pain and problems. I find this doctor very very rude. Not to many doctors look at their patient and say rude things like this. Just because it wasn't him in pain doesn't mean he needed to treat me that way. I wouldn't refer him to any of my friends or family.

Extremely pleased with all three visits. Dr. Makman was extremely empathetic and listened to my concerns. He made a great plan for me and I am greatly relieved now. He got an answer to my pain and a workable solution. Very professional and very impressed with him. Will highly recommend him to everyone. Exceptional staff too especially Pam in insurance department. She went over and above to help with insurance issue and pre cert for services for me and got me scheduled to be seen much sooner. Very pleased with her and Christopher and Lindsay in imaging and MRI department. You all rock and am so grateful to you all. Thank you all for a wonderful experience. Awesome...

Writing this 4 weeks post-op from total hip replacement via lateral/posterior approach. Chose Dr Makman based on recommendation and was concerned based on mediocre score here. I shouldn't have worried, start to present care was superb from Dr. Makman and staff to crew at Kalispell Regional Hospital where surgery performed. I'm 58 and 2 weeks post op I was walking unaided and driving by week 3. Still following post-op precautions but moving relatively pain free for first time in years. Do it!

I've seen Dr. Makman several times for a hip issue. He's always been professional and at the same time personable as well as making the pain of an injection as painless as possible.

Options for arthroscopic hip surgery are limited in Montana, so getting to the office and surgery center is difficult if you don't live in Kalispell. On top of that, they want you to follow up with a 5 minutes office exam after surgery just to get stitches out. Scheduling was a nightmare since I was from out of town and nurses are less than helpful when you call in with post op questions and sound less than enthused to talk to you.

Dr.Makman really helped me from start to finish with a difficult decision, and surgery. I'm only 45 and had to have a total hip replacement. He chose a great approach, against what I thought I wanted, and the results have been AMAZING! He is friendly, precise, intelligent, and such a great surgeon. I would send anyone to him. Even if it means they need to travel to get here. He's a top notch Dr and I have great respect for him.

I sat for an hour before this doctor even got to me and he ended up spending five minutes with me telling me I had nothing wrong with my swollen knee after he looked at my MRI. He was no help at all. I have been to this orthopedic center for my neck and the doctor I saw that time was rude and no help either. I would never refer anyone to this place.

disliked this doctor; felt like I was an just a number, visit lasted 5 mins got prescription for therapy. PA finished office call. Wow Paid cash 80.00 dollars for quick brush off.
