Eric Stone Md's Online Review Report Card

Before I perferated my esophagus I had never heard of a GI Docter. I have only worked with Dr Stone and his team. For a Docter he is among the best I have worked with. He sits down with me and discusses my situation. Tells me what to expect out of my treatment. What to expect during every outpatient surgical procedure. He reminds me that my situation is going to be a process that it will take several Procedures. After my esophagus accident in Ohio and the emergency surgery there the Docters set me up with Dr Stone here in Missoula. They where presently surprised by the docters in Montana and in particular my medical teams. Most of all Dr Stone here in Missoula. I am so happy they chose Dr Stone for my continued care. While he does my Procedures in the hospital we did do one in his office. I love his staff at the Montana GI office. The scheduling team Cindy in Particular goes the extra mile to squeeze in a truck driver. The nurses at the office care about me and my issues. What's even better is I make them laugh which helps me deal with my problem. It helps lighten the mood a bit. They even showed me a better place for an IV then my elbow. If you need to turn to a GI Doctor Dr Stone would be a great choice.

I recently had a procedure that was performed by Dr. Stone. He and his Team were very professional and thorough. They explained everything with expertise. I highly recommend if you need a Colonoscopy procedure to have your primary care provider put in a referral to Dr. Stone and Western Montana Gastronology. My results were incomplete due to my system was not completely cleaned out. I did not eat for 36 hours and drank the liquid as prescribed and still not satisfactory to the procedure. Normally the physician recommends every 5 years however I have to go back in 1 year. Be sure to get checked out. All in all I thank you Dr. Stone and team for your SERVICE.

To say that Dr Stone has a bedside manner befitting his name would be an understatement. As a fellow physician, he listened to nothing I said, oversedated me for the procedure, then failed to appropriately discuss the findings, made zero recommendations and arranged for zero follow up. I wouldn’t recommend him to a toad.

First time for being Dr. Stone's patient

The staff how answer the phone is very bad bad bad. They put you on hold and speak with you for few seconds and telling you i have patient came in, and put you on hold and then come back and when you try to take she said i have a patient came in, i have to put you on hold, i was trying to contact them about my prescription, the pharmacist said they need to get prauthrazation, it has been a week and nothing. needs the medicine for my heart. person will died and they don't care, what am I? I am a patient to? Don't go over there at all.

If there was an option for zero stars, it would have been more accurate. I was referred here by my primary care physician and was set up for an appointment. Next business day I was left a message that my appointment would need to be rescheduled. I called back and set up a new appointment. I was contacted THE DAY OF my scheduled appointment and was told the doctor will not be in that afternoon and I will need to reschedule. The staff did not even try to have me seen by another one of their doctors, nothing. Needless to say I will not be rescheduling or even consider any of their locations based on being cancelled on TWICE in the same week. They obviously are not there for their patients and what's worse have wasted a WHOLE WEEK of my time in which I could have been seen somewhere else that honors their appointments and patients.

I felt as though he had no compassion for what I was going through. I left no more hope for feeling better than I had when I came in.

I visited Dr. Stone for the first time after complications from having my gallbladder removed. I was very concerned about having a lot of tests done because I travel a lot for my job this time of year and don't have a lot of time to run back and forth to doctor's offices and hospitals. Luckily for me, Dr. Stone is a specialist in a certain outpatient procedure that was able to diagnose and fix the problem with very little downtime. I was so pleased to had a doctor that was able to get me back to work without dragging out the process. I am so thankful to have Dr. Stone's expertise.

Dr. Stone far exceeded my expectations. While it took a while to get an appointment it was worth it. He was caring, answered all my questions, and came up with a good plan for my problem. I highly recommend him.
