Our son was born with a brain disease and required a feeding tube. Dr. Dinsmore's full attention was with our son. He was informative up to and after our son's surgery which required many special considerations due to his condition. His confidence and reassurances were a great relief to us in this very stressful time. Much appreciation to the Dr. and his staff for our son's successful surgery. We are very grateful for the amount of care he was given.

Charged over $250 (after insurance) to dab silver nitrate on my 2 month old's belly button. This was supposed to be a consultation after my pediatrician did the same thing to make sure this was all that was needed. I wish they would have told me they overcharge so I could have had my pediatrician do it! Called to discuss it and they were rude. Highly recommend finding someone else (non-Carilion)!

Dr. Dinsmore and his staff were fanimonial in their care of my son. Having to hear that your 10 year old needs an emergency appendectomy was very scary. His confidence and calm demeanor made my husband and I feel at ease. It is not easy to trust anyone with your children but with Dr. Dinsmore that was never a concern.
