Paul Baumgartner Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Baumgartner is an amazing OB-GYN with attention to detail, compassion, and professionalism. I simply cannot imagine having a different provider and am so glad that he was able to deliver my first child. His MA, Pepper is diligent, kind, and practices similarly to Dr. Baumgartner- making this team like no other. Anytime I needed something, Pepper and Paul took great care of me, ensuring my concerns were addressed the same day. A “thank you” is simply not enough!

Paul has made me feel very comfortable and welcome everything I've seen him. I have had my old doctor since I was 15 yrs old and he retired before I was done having kids. I was extremely scared to find a doctor like my old one. Paul has made my scared feeling go away he's amazing doctor. I have platelet issues during pregnancy and he was right on top of it all... I will refer my friends and family to him if they need an obgyn.

After a very disheartening birth experience with a midwife, I came to Paul for postpartum follow up. He was incredibly thorough, kind, informative and very dedicated to ensuring that he answered all my questions and that I received the best care possible. He was also very respectful of my personal health care decisions. I cannot say enough good things about this physician..best doctor I've ever received care from.

Dr. Paul Baumgartner is easily the best doctor I've ever had. "I'm thankful you're so well taken care of" was a common phrase in my family any time the topic of my pregnancy and doctor visits came up. He truly cares about giving you the absolute best care possible. It also helps that his nurse, Pepper, and really everyone that works in the office is just as wonderful as he is.

I’m so happy that I choose Dr. Baumgartner to be my OBGYN, and to deliver my little girl. He was amazing from day 1. I’m a first time parent, and he explained everything from beginning to end in detail. Never left me feeling unsure or scared about anything. I was able to contact him whenever with questions or concerns. Not to mention his nursing staff was excellent! Pepper (the nurse that works with him) is the absolute best! I feel blessed that I had the opportunity to have him as my doctor! I would absolutely never choose another doctor to deliver my baby, and have never felt so cared about or comfortable!! Dr. Paul is the best . I have been to the other popular obgyn's here and Paul has the best bedside manner ever .He explains everything you need or want to know about something . He will always involve you in the decision making . I had complications in this pregnancy and he was there for me all the way and did my surgery for my cyst at 20 weeks pregnant and baby and I made a perfect recovery and then he did my cesarian section and that was perfect too I have the most perfect lil girl ever and he truly cares about his patients and it shows.. He checked on us many times afterwards. And his Nurse Pepper is the greatest she really cares about the patient as well. I couldn't ask for a better team of health care professionals.

I couldn't have asked for a more caring and nice person to have as my OBGYN. I was a high risk pregnancy and he was always informed and knowledgeable about everything, he made my pregnancy so much smoother than it would have been. I couldn't have found a more perfect person to have throughout this experience, I feel so fortunate that he was my doctor.

I could not be more thrilled with the care I have received from Dr Baumgartner and Pepper during a scary and emotional time. I came into their care after an er visit finding large ovarian cysts. Dr. Baumgartner's manner was both reassuring, confident and compassionate. I knew I could ask all my questions on removing the cysts and subsequent stage 4 endometriosis diagnoses which had not been diagnosed for many years before seeing Dr. Baumgartner. We opted for a hysterectomy and I knew all of my options and he dealt with all of my google inspired questions. My care was truly outstanding and the one good thing of dealing with 2 surgeries and endometriosis treatment is that I have gynecologist that I trust.

I am currently pregnant with my first child (22 weeks). I've had the best experience so far with Dr. Paul Baumgartner & his wonderful nurse Pepper. They both make me feel safe, comfortable & anxiety free during all of my appointments. I never feel pressured to get any service I don't want. They just weigh the pros/cons & I can make the decisions. In a world where it's chaotic right now, I can remain calm & know for sure I'm in good hands. I'm glad I chose them.

TLDR: His competency and knowledge is only surpassed by his kindness. Dr. Paul walked me through a miscarriage and a healthy pregnancy and delivery (and hopefully more to come). His explanations are thorough and easy to understand, his nurse, Pepper, is amazing, and the rest of the office staff is great. I was new to town and didn't have an obgyn when I found out I was pregnant for the first time. I had heard good things about another dr so I scheduled an appointment with them, but they were a month out so I booked when I could and waited. Before that appointment, something was wrong and I knew I was having a miscarriage. I called the other dr office and they told me to go to the lab to have blood testing to confirm. I did, but it was the Friday before a holiday weekend. The test results didn't get to the other dr before their office closed and they said I'd have to wait until Tuesday. I called the lab directly and left a voicemail asking if they could tell me the numbers so that I could compare them myself and confirm what I already knew. Dr. Paul was the dr on call that day and he called me back. He explained the results to me, explained what was happening, what to expect, and offered to see me that day if I wanted. I thanked him and declined, thinking I'd never meet the kind man that delivered the worst news. Later in the evening, I started bleeding a lot and it wasn't stopping. I went to the ER and Dr. Paul was still on call. This was during COVID so I was alone and very scared. With my husband on the phone, he spoke to us like we were in the same room, explained again what was happening and what our options were and the risks. He explained everything thoroughly, but in a very easy to understand way that wasn't patronizing or intimidating. He performed a procedure to stop the bleeding and got me home safe. During my follow up with him for that procedure, he was patient, calming, and caring. When I found out I was pregnant again, my husband and I had no doubt who we wanted to see and Dr. Paul's office was able to get us in quickly. He eased our anxiety and walked us through it all, telling us what to expect and answering a million questions honestly. His nurse, Pepper, was amazing and relatable and the front office was always very nice and helpful. It was a fairly common pregnancy until my blood pressure crept up towards the end. He advised us to be induced early and set realistic expectations for what to expect during labor and delivery. When it came time to deliver, in the middle of the night, he was there and alert and coached my husband and I through the most amazing experience we'd ever been a part of. We now have a healthy baby, I'm a healthy mom, and my husband was included through the entire process. I've never trusted a doctor more and while I wish I'd found him through different means, I'm so grateful to have found him.
