I have a small schwanoma tumor in my ear that he has been treating for several years. He explains things thoroughly, provides options and solutions to you, takes his time and listens to your concerns. He's very kind and compassionate. Dr. VanDoersten is an incredible doctor and person. Missoula is lucky to have him. I feel very fortunate to have him as my doctor and highly recommend him to others.

He’s simply the best! So lucky to have Dr Von Doersten in Missoula. He could literally practice anywhere in the world and still be the best.

Dr. Von Doersten and his assistant have provided superb care for my hearing impaired wife for about 20 years. This care has meant that we've been able to enjoy these years together as seniors becoming elderly. We have been most grateful.

I have been with Dr. Von Doerston for 4 years now and he's nothing less than a miracle. He's a kind soul and takes exceptional care of his patients, me in particular! You will not be let down by visiting this wonderful doctor!

Dr. Von Doersten performed four endoscopic ear procedures on me during a period of 15 months in 2015 - 16. You could not find a more skilled surgeon. I am impressed with not only his skill, but with his caring and concern for his patients.

If only all doctors were as educated, caring, thorough, witty, skilled and trustworthy as this man. He's truly one in a million. I've had 2 surgeries and both went very well. His passion for his work is clearly evident, and has none of the arrogance I often see in doctors. Highly recommended.

I was suspicious, terrified, and distrustful of doctors for much of my life, but having a positive experience with Dr. Von Doersten (and his staff) has brightened my view on the possibilities of a good medical experience, with truly big-hearted, and highly skilled people. His generosity with time, and his ability to listen are remarkable. He's one in a million.

Dr. Von Doersten demonstrated complete credence and equanimity throughout my procedure. He also has a good sense of humor, which indicates his higher brain function. Good choice of a doctor, even if you are not a rocket scientist.

In the space of 7 years, I have received two Cochlear Implants by Dr. V., and really I have nothing but praise for his work; he was attentive and forthright with me offering advice and information prior to each surgery, and both surgeries went well- the results are as expected and detailed by him; he is busy- but shows a desire to be caring within his time constraints; would I recommend him- yes, as far as I am concerned- he is the best.

I feel that Dr. V office is crazy and the amount of time waiting is ridicouls! he is arogant and thinks he is the one and only one who can handle a situation. His bed side manner, he appears to be a nice guy BUT is too egotistical for my liking!
