My husband had a Laminectomy done on L-4 & L-5 right at the beginning of Covid in Missoula at St Patrick’s. Dr Campbell admitted him because he couldn’t walk without a walker to and from the bathroom in our home. He could hardly get up from a chair for 3 weeks and couldn’t sleep in a bed for those 3 weeks. After his surgery he was able to walk with very little assistance and is back doing the things he likes to do like playing golf and woodworking. Thank you to Dr Campbell and his amazing nurses.
Wish i could give a lower review. This man told me i will be on bed rest forever. I have 2 children and i am the primary income in my house. I am 32 and he told me there is nothing i can do and i just have to stay in bed until i die.
Told my 32yr old husband there was nothing that could be done for his CSF leak and he had live the rest of his life laying flat not being able to interact with our children or work. He didn't listen to other doctors or even offer to get my husband into a specialist that could treat him. Just told him to deal with it.
Have gave him 3 cds to look at. Looked at them for about 3 minutes and said there is nothing wrong with you! Very cocky and condescending! I would never let him operate on me. Ended up having a occipital craniectomy by an incredible neurosurgeon. He needs to go back to work at NASA!! He told us that is where he came from and how intelligent he was. Good lord
I had my first apt and was called twice to change day and time because he had a emergency surgery- then saw him, he wanted to see my husband to explain my diagnoses maybe because I wasn't ready for surgery and he wanted to do fusion on neck that I wasn't sure about yet. made 2nd apt- receptionist called three days before apt and asked if I could change my time and appointment because he had a open day and I was the only apt for afternoon. well my husband and I both had to arrange to get off work so that really didn't work well for us , then the next morning , day before appointment I get a call from office and the lady says he has to cancel because he has a surgery? I said this is third time for change nd was told he had a open day the day before so wasn't to happy about that.. I feel like I wasn't really important enough to be treated like a valued appointment and maybe because I wasn't jumping on the cutting table right away , I may not have been a priority. probably will not be using him.
I was a patient of Dr Campbell's in 2010 , had an aynursm clipping . Since then I have been doing very well but thought I should get a checkup because I've been getting dizzy. So I called his office in Bethlehem PA, when I called the receptionit's said Dr Campbell is in Montana! Hope the doctor s s I see is just as good. Thank you Dr Campbell.
He is a wonderful surgeon. Because of him, my son can walk again.
I was referred to this practice from pain management. They were to call me and schedule an appt. per the pain management office. They never called. After a week and no phone call from them I called one day TWICE leaving a message that I was referred to them from pain management. They have yet to return my call! Stay away!! If they can't return a phone call how diligent can they be?

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
