If your child has special needs or a pulse this is not the dentist for you. Absolutely horrible. Additionally, medical and dental practitioners should be scentless. There was a very strong perfume smell I believe from the dentists lotion. I can't quite put my finger on it but it was STRONG. Very strong smelling lotion. Very tropical and very strong smelling lotion.

The kids have such a great time when we visit Dr. Tiede's office, we are kept well informed on their teeth care, the staff is really fun but still professional, all of us enjoy this office

Over booked. It took 2 hours with my baby's mouth pried open continually waiting on Dr. Tiede

All three of our children have been seeing Dr. Tiede for 9 years now. She has been exceptional over that time! Several times she recommended procedures that avoided future need for expensive orthodontic work. I appreciate the friendly and helpful staff too. Sadly our children are growing up and they are moving on to adult dentists. Thank you Dr. Tiede for your professional and kind care of our children!

I love this place but recently I had to reschedule my child's first appointment due to our clutch went out and had that replaced by the next day and then on our second appointment my child woke up puking which I wasn't exposing her to other people and she was having a tooth extracted on this appointment so I was told she would have to be seen on a walk in basis now!!! I'm very upset that circumstances beyond my control happened and my child had to pay the consequences which isn't fair to my child what so ever!!! Oh and we don't live within the city we are 15 miles out. Thank you

At Missoula Pediatric Dentistry Dr. Tiede goes above and beyond to provide the highest quality of care to all patients. She is patient and kind. Dr. Tiede makes sure children feel comfortable and brave even through challenging appointments. Young children often feel nervous or scared in a healthcare setting and it is Dr. Tiede's primary goal to make sure children feel safe. As a registered dental hygienist I am very proud to be apart of the team at MPD!

They have a very kid friendly setting and the people are nice. But we have had a number of incidents that have led us to make a change. My son has had four fillings over the past 6 years with Dr. Tiede and three of them have fallen out. Dr. Tiede apologized this last time, but said that it was most likely due to inadequate flossing and refused to cover it under warranty. As with all of his other fillings, Dr. Tiede has a way of turning 1 filling into 2 by stating that it was touching the adjacent tooth so they need to do both. In other words, same amount of time they just charge for two. He's had 4 cavities and we've paid for 10 fillings due to the double billing and falling out. My son religiously flosses every single night, how many 9 year old kids do that? I would also warn people to check their billing statement every time for questionable charges. They have repeatedly charged us for procedures not actually completed. When we question them, they wait until after insurance has processed to make an adjustment. Also, every time we go they charge a $29 fee for a "facial image." This is just a photo of the child to put in their folder!!! Every time we tell them that we're not paying $29 for a picture (we can bring one if they need) and every time they credit it (of course after insurance pays a portion). I'm betting most people don't question that charge. The office setting is fantastic, and for the most part the staff is great and very nice. However, we will be switching dentists after 6 years because we have had enough of their questionable billing practices.
