List of Taylor Buckley Md's Reviews
I would not recommend Dr. Buckley. I saw him for a carpal tunnel release, and he was over an hour late for an 8:30am appt. After talking with both an x-ray tech and NP while waiting, he came in and proceeded to give me the exact opposite information I received from them about the recommended procedure. He then browsed his smart watch without looking at me while I was giving him requested information about my symptoms. The final straw was listening to him berate my insurance company for being "one of the worst to work with." My insurance only covers the two hospitals and not the surgery center and even though he could have done my procedure at the hospital he refused to do it outside the surgery center because it was out of his "comfort zone." He was by far the most unprofessional doctor I've ever met with. Fortunately I found a kind and compassionate neurosurgeon to do my carpal tunnel release, and my referring provider will never send anyone to Dr. Buckley again.
Dr. Buckley was an hour late for my 8:30am appt. He gave me conflicting information from what I was told the same morning by the NP. He browsed his Apple Watch while I talked and never looked at me. He berated my insurance company for being the "worst ever" and refused to do carpal tunnel release procedure at a facility that my insurance covered (even though he could). I felt belittled and discriminated ...
Was an hour late for 8:30am appt. Gave me the exact opposite info about recommendations for carpal tunnel release than the NP who met with me first. Browsed his Apple watch while I was talking and never looked at me. Spent 10 minutes berating my insurance carrier for being the "worst ever." Wouldn't do surgery outside of Big Sky Surgery Center even though he knew my insurance wouldn't cover it but would cover Community Hospital (where he has privileges). Refused to do the procedure at the hospital because it wasn't in his "comfort zone."
The worst hand doctor! My hand and wrist hurt worse than before my surgery! And it's permanent! He put 3 screws in my wrist and one scree did not take, so it's permanently worse off than before. He said the only way to fix it is to have another surgery! Ha! No way! Never again with him! Don't bother seeing him, he will make it worse off than before! A lousy doctor!
He took me on in an emergency and he & his staff were always there when I needed them. He fixed my hand with perfect results.
Do not go to this doctor unless you want loss of use of your hand for likely the rest of your life. Would have been much better off dealing with my problem than the permanent problems I will have as a result of a "fix". Horrible customer service throughout Northern Rockies Ortho as well. Be prepared to play phone tag for days or be threatened to take even longer (via the voicemail message) if you call a second time. They take 2 days to call back or more. No one will answer the phone except those making an initial appointment.
Not very friendly and never on time
Dr. Taylor's surgical techniques allowed me to recover quickly. The hand surgery went much better than I expected.
After having a terrible experience with a large bone and joint group in town, I was referred to Dr. Buckley. He immediately identified the problem and was able to remedy it. I will go back for follow-up. Very pleased.
Dr. Buckley was very attentive and helpful with my injury. He discussed all options with me. I didn't feel like he was trying to sway my decision for treatment in the direction that would make him the most money. He seemed to desperately want to help me to be pain-free, in the moment and long-term. My only complaint with this clinic was the scheduling girls. Kelly and Saberina were not helpful! Called many times, left messages, and still no response back to schedule the surgery. Terrible service

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
