Thomas Frandsen Md's Online Review Report Card

I do not recommend Dr. Thomas Frandsen at Missoula Family Medicine. My experience with the front office staff was incredibly frustrating as they were unprofessional, impolite, and rude. I scheduled my appointment ~2 weeks in advance, and arrived early. I provided my ID & Insurance Card, as requested. The receptionist immediately began shaking her head, and explained that she's not able to bill my insurance as my card doesn't have my Member ID. I provided my digital insurance card, and even called Blue Cross to confirm coverage. Blue Cross advised the office should simply bill using my social security number, and they'd update with my member ID automatically when it's assigned. The receptionist continued shaking her head, telling me they've been burned too many times. The implication was I was effectively lying, despite offering to provide a full deposit for my visit. I don't recommend this office.

I do not recommend this provider as their front office staff is extremely difficult and rude. I was denied service because Blue Cross had not yet assigned my member ID on my new policy, which was because I changed employers. Despite providing proof of coverage, and even calling Blue Cross from their office to confirm, they wouldn't work with me and denied service. I even offered to provide a $1,000 deposit, and they told me they've been burned too many times- implying I was lying to them or attempting to get free service. Scheduling with Dr. Frandsen was a huge waste of time and now it will be several weeks before another provider can see me.

If there is a waitlist - it will be worth it! Dr. Frandsen and his staff are some of the best professionals in the field. They are all so kind and helpful - which can be hard to find in a doctors office sometimes. Their website is user friendly, the online portal is very user friendly, and their office is the coziest. My questions were always answered quickly and my test results were usually quick as well. I recently transferred to a new doctor (moved away) and she will have high standards to meet. Thank you Dr. Frandsen and team - I will miss you all and thank you for helping me figure out problems that others couldn't!

I have received the highest quality of care and compassion from Dr. Frandsen and his entire staff and highly recommend them to anyone. His nurses are kind and thorough, always attentive and helpful; Dr. Frandsen takes the time to listen, to always try to find the root cause of an issue and never disregards a symptom. His kindness and gentle demeanor are always comforting and welcome in the world where many doctors don’t have the time to truly care. I state with confidence and experience that this man does cares for his patients. He has not only been my doctor, but provided care for both my mother and father. My mother had severe vascular dementia and it is a difficult thing to try to tend to a patient who cannot explain what is going on with them. I saw his true nature when he tended to her with gentleness and overwhelming empathy and humanity. He treated my father with exceptional care and always made my father feel listened to and cared for — to say I have respect for this doctor is the very least that I can say. Five stars for this place is zero justice; if you are his patient you are beyond fortunate. I know I am blessed and grateful to be treated so well.

Treating my husband and myself. So grateful to have found this office. Dr Thomas Frandsen, and nurses Cami, Jill, Amy, Katie have been the most caring set of nurses I've ever had the pleasure of having! Very thorough and kind! I feel like I have quite the list of ailments sometimes and they never neglect to make sure we have gone over every request when I'm in. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a wholesome, truly compassionate, driven and kind doctor! He will do everything he can to make sure your needs are taken care of while in his office!

Used to be a great doctors office until they moved to Missoula and COVID hit. Does not return phone calls and pretty much diagnoses everything as COVID- also was told that they are no longer overseeing work comp cases- and instead of reaching out to notify me of this, they've decided to prolonge my case and make it difficult. 100% will not go back to this office or doctor because I can go to the ER just as easy and actually be seen.

There aren't enough words to express my gratitude for Dr. Frandsen and his wonderful, caring staff. My family has been hit with issue after issue and I feel like we were in the office constantly. I was always able to get my kids seen promptly and care for them and myself has been truly outstanding. Thank you Dr. Frandsen, Cami, Jill, and Katie, for your patience and care during a really stressful season of life.

Dr. Frandsen and his amazing staff (we love everyone there) are fantastic! I wouldn't trust anyone else with our family. He has been there for everything, he is supportive, and genuinely cares. Best of all, my husband really likes him too and will go see him. We love Missoula Family Medicine and I have to say they are doing something right if everyone in my family and friend group goes to his office for their primary care!

Dr Frandsen and the staff at Missoula Family Medicine are amazing! I bring my children to Dr Frandsen for pediatric care and he has such a great demeanor with them. I feel heard as a parent and trust that I’m getting the best care and advice for my children. I also have started using him as my primary care physician and am so happy I found Dr Frandsen! They are very personal, very professional and the practice has a smaller, local feel. I know we’re not just a medical chart in their eyes. Also, the waiting room is super cute! Really nice (and clean!) toys for kids. I highly recommend Missoula Family Medicine, this practice is how medicine should be.

We already love your practice so much! You guys are so organized & welcoming. We have never had a doctor take that kind of time and care with our kids, or ask the variety of questions. Today far exceeded any expectations I had and we felt so comfortable with the whole team. We are so lucky to have you practicing in Missoula now & look forward to being with you guys for many years to come!
