Dr. Witte is exactly the kind of person I want to talk to regarding a very invasive spinal surgery. He listens carefully, is hands-on in his assessments, very knowledgeable, with a very focused attitude. I went ahead and scheduled the surgery the day I met him.

Dr. Zack Witte is a talented surgeon and incredible patient advocate. He has a kind and caring approach to questions and never makes you feel like he is too busy to answer each one carefully. He gave he my life back with lower lumbar surgery. I did not believe I would ever be able to do the things that made my life enjoyable and mine. I was wrong. I am currently, at 68, enjoying a return to my chosen sport, horseback archery. I wish I hadn’t waited so long.

My daughter was involved in a motor vehicle accident which caused severe spinal damage that required major surgery. We were referred to Missoula Bone and Joint and Dr. Witte was very empathetic and treated us very professionally. He gave us the time needed to ask questions and explained everything that her surgery would involve. Her surgery was performed the very next day where Dr. Witte placed two rods and eight screws to fuse her back together. After 6 weeks in her brace and a painful recovery she is doing fantastic. The 7" incision is all that is evident from the procedure; even that was done beautifully. I highly recommend Dr. Witte as he helped my daughter through a very trying time. Thanks doesn't even feel like enough for what he did for my daughter.

Bone and Joint is the one place I can depend on for prompt care and scheduling wether it be and emergency or routine consult. Dr. Witte was thourgh and gave good options for my condition providing hope for healing and pain relief that I had not received elsewhere.

My recent experience with Dr .Witte as well as Dr. Amrine and Dr. LaPorte was exceptional. All three doctors demonstrated compassion and concern for my health. I enthusiastically recommend all three to anyone seeking high quality care. Their nurses Jennifer, Becca and Christy are amazing and wonderful too.
