List of Kirk Crews's Reviews
After 11years of taking my boys to see Dr. Crews, we unfortunately will be going elsewhere now. I recently took my son in for a school physical for sports and at the end of the appointment Dr. Crews asked if I had any questions or concerns. I asked him a dietary question regarding my son. 2 months later, I received a bill for $143. Insurance paid for the physical itself, but apparently Dr. Crews billed me additionally for the question that I had asked. I told him that my son was having some digestive issues and I asked him if I should have him tested for food allergies since I have a few. Anyway, long story short...I was NOT told ahead of time that I would be charged if I were to ask a question. And to me, this was a simple question. It did not go over our appointment time either. When I called to complain, they said specifically that I was billed because I asked a question after the physical. This is NOT okay. People should be told AHEAD of time if they are going to be charged for asking questions!! So ridiculous and just wanting money....I do not recommend this practice to anyone. They apparently will bill you for anything and everything they can now! Zero empathy.
Dr Crews is a wonderful doctor. He is knowledgeable, kind and understanding.
Needed to be seen rather quickly for some dizzy spells. Office was able to get me in the next day. Dr. Crews was pleasant to speak with and very meticulous.
Kirks true compassion for people is evident when you meet him. He has gone beyond what would be expected when helping my son. Thanks Kirk your a shining star in my eyes.
A caring, advocate for our well being He makes you feel like you really matter
Have gone to Dr Crews for about 15 years. He cared for my brother and then my husband in their end of life time. He was thoughtful, caring and patient. He always treated my family with dignity and respect, speaking to them not over them. I have found his diagnosis to be on target.
Scheduling times for appointments are ridiculously long. Twice now over a month - for life threatening conditions that turned into emergency room visits and hospitalizations. These guys treat colds and heart attacks with the same urgency?a month wait?way too late to do any good. They are way too busy. However, Dr. Crews is a talented and helpful guy. You just aren't going to get to see him when needed. You better have a back up, but who wants to shuffle between two primary caregivers.
He has no compassion
Dr. Crews is rude and abusive.
I had the unfortunate experience of having Dr. Crews as my doctor at a week long stay in Marcus Daly Hospital in Hamilton, MT. I was dealing with acute withdrawal with several other health problems. Dr. Crews was very unsympathetic and treated me like a dog. It was a wonder I stayed the entire visit. He would visit me daily, and constantly tell me that I was an addict for life, and I was just going to get out and go find more drugs. He did not care about my other health issues which were only intensified with the withdrawals. He called me names, insulted me, threatened me, and gave me a prognosis of basically never getting better, that I'd always be an addict and I'd be better of in a psych ward the rest of my life. I am a recovering addict and no longer use drugs, alcohol, or any mind altering substances. NOT because of THIS doctor, but because of my strong will, and finding a doctor who deals with opiate addiction and my other health problems. I would not recommend Dr. Crews to ANYONE!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
