Do not go to this place. They are low rated on here for good reason. My experience here was very negative from unprofessional, incompetent staff, poor customer service and lots of my time being wasted. Go somewhere else. Please.
My first visit was a couple of weeks ago. After the exam, I was left in room with no idea what to do & after about 10 to 15 minutes, the PA returned asking why was I still in the room & to go. I couldn't get properly checked out because the ladies at check out & check in were on the phones. The check in lady did take the new patient paper work I filled out. Taking the prescribed antibiotics, the site became more & more infected looking & more painful. I tried to schedule another appt but never received any acknowledgement or reply. In desperation & pain, i was given a 4 45 appt but instructed to be there at 4 30. I was there at 4:29. The lady said, yes I see your appt but the appts since 3 have been blocked so we won't see you. But I have an appt. But the appts are blocked...round and round. I finally under great stress, duress and fear said is there a hospital here. Yeah, Wake Med, down the road. Ok give me a note, letter, or something stating you all refuse to see me and I will go there. I can't do that. Well then see me. No all the appts are blocked. But I have an appt...get the picture... so I go outside very distressed (which she saw and couldn't have cared less about) & made several calls. 1 to my friend because I could not drive in my current state (I could have killed or injured myself or someone else--this kinda falls under that 'first do no harm' thing I believe) as well as several in an attempt to figure out what I could do. I was given several pieces of advice, one of which was to go back & ask for the charge nurse. I did but was told she had left for the day. So is there anyone I can talk to? No. Finally a nurse walked up & I went thru all the poor service, refusal to be seen although I had an appt and finally bared the site. Her face changed and she said I needed to go to the ER. Ok I did...had a procedure and hopefully everything will be ok but you want the whole story, the failure of the staff to even try to mitigate damages and complete unconcern by a staff that could not care less. Truely, the receptionist could have said, all my doctors are gone but let me get you in a room and let the nurse have a look at the site (yeah, I had already put a picture one you obviously never read website) and she can call the dr and update her and either give me more and different meds or recommend going to the emergency dept. That would have been the proper, most profession and most reassuring to me the patient option as well as faster & not making me, your patient freaking hysterical. But no, not gonna happen. I again asked for a statement of some kind that they refused to see me at my appt time but I was told, that isn't going to happen. My friend went in to talk to them & I was being discussed while she waited while they didn't know if she was another patient. Yeah, you fail on so many levels. I was truly unsure after seeing the PA the first time because she did not give me a sense of being someone I could be open without being countermanded on what I said at any time, her bruskness, and lack of compassion made her even more suspect. But friday, that was horrible. Yes, I am still upset and disappointed. Shame on you, every single one of you...to allow this treatment is to condone it, encourage it and make it standard if treatment
Very unprofessional! Went to a drive thru Covid test and no one was using proper disinfecting protocol. The girl giving me the paperwork had on mittens (for cold weather) and I watched her take my clip board and pen and then, give the next car behind me the same with the same mittens on. To top it off... I got a call later saying they “LOST” my test and could I come do another!!!!! I was the first car in line.. how do u lose my test?!??? And who tf wants to do ANOTHER test?!?? Terrible experience all the way around!
The lady at the front desk was absolutely rude to me and told me I was a liar, when I told her something that her office personal told me about electronic pay stubs . Dont not waste you're money here.
Very pleasant visit each time I am a type one diabetic and the visits are absolutely welcoming both the nurses and receptionist are friendly and helpful along with my diabetes doctor. No idea why the negative reviews maybe they caught their doctor or nurse on a bad day but not me,every appointment here has been perfect and they do not disappoint
I've been there on, and off for about 3 years, and each year, it doesn't get better. I only go because, it's close by. I switched Doctor's, because the one I had was rude, and really unfriendly. And I got tried of feeling stressed, everytime I go. I have white coat already, and going there really, made my pressure go up. So I changed Doctors, and we will see how it goes. You can never, get them over the phone, when you need to make an appointment, it goes to the Raleigh number, and your put on hold. And you finally, hang up. Unprofessional. Could be an emergency. I'm still looking for somewhere more professional. I had friends, that left there because of that. Now I see why.
I booked a visit for my 7 year old son. Before taking it I read the reviews and had a bit of anxiety. I went there anyway because if I don't see I don't believe. I must say that I found the staff of this clinic to be very kind and helpful, without excluding anyone. The lady who assisted us at the reception was very kind, then we were assisted by a nurse (sorry I can't remember the name), an extremely sweet woman and then finally Dr. Viviano who, although she may seem a woman with a rude character, is incredibly professional, kind and helpful. I am sorry for those who have had negative experiences, I personally with my son we have been very well and I thank all the staff for their help and assistance.
Billing was a nightmare and a lot of poor communication.
Made us wait over 2 hours. They didn't give us a Dr's note and were very rude.
First a little background, I have been diagnosed with endometriosis and PCOS years ago, and was well aware of of my symptoms and complications that arise from these pre-conditions . I was uninsured and did not qualify for Medicaid at the time of my visit and resorted making an appointment at the Apex office out of necessity.I was displeased with the "face-to-face" nature of the visit. I understand COVID is restricting normal office procedures but I literally sat in my vehicle in the back parking lot for 2 hrs before the staff would ever pull me into the office to draw blood for a routine panel. My appointment was at 11 and I arrived 20+ mins ahead of time, and still managed to spend over 2.5 hours at this location only to leave with a referral that still hasn't been completed and bloodwork I've yet to hear the results of.When asked about previous substance abuse issues during the initial phases of this appointment, I willingly disclosed this information not thinking it would be used to judge and degrade me. Once staff labeled me as an addict, even though I'm in recovery and sober, it seemed that the level of care offered was greatly diminished. I was told basically to lose weight and I'd get better, although the doctor didn't seem to acknowledge 30+ lbs I have put on in water weight in the last 3 months which I know are directly related to whatever is happening with my body.I called the general number for these facilities to check in on my lab results and status of referral, three days later might I add, and was told to be more patient in regards to the referral process and that a message would be relayed to the apex location in reference to my bloodwork. The operator on the line stated my bloodwork was in but she wasn't allowed to read it. I called this morning and I guess they still haven't found time in 5 hrs throughout the day to give me a call. I left the office that day with absolutely no paperwork or follow up instructions. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone Bc staff noted and mentioned several times that I did not have insurance and basically wrote me off as unworthy of their time ... not a pleasant experience.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
