List of Back In Action Physical Therapy's Reviews
I want to give a huge shout out to my PT Mary-Beth at "Back in Action Physical Therapy" on Kelly RD in Apex. My sincere gratitude for her wealth of experience and her positive impact that achieved my goal, saving me from undergoing additional anesthesia to gain additional range of motion (ROM) on my knee after knee surgery in my 4th month post op. Not only has Mary Beth a kind, sweet and encouraging personality, but she is also intuitive to your needs and really listens to and knows when to push, trying to archive the best outcome. My Dr wanted me at a 120-degree range coming from an 87-degree knee bend. Mary Beth worked with me 2 times a week on gaining range of motion for 4 weeks and was able to prevent ROM, and getting me to -127 degrees, resulting a 40-degree knee bend. What an accomplishment! I've had 2 other PTs at 2 different places prior and have them to compare to. I can honestly say that hands down, Mary-Beth is the best!
David is an excellent PT. I highly recommend this facility. He has been treating my TMJD and I have had a very positive experience.
Setoo at Back in action is the best..She explains everything in detail takes time to understand our concerns..
BACK IN ACTION: They are true to their name. I went for an Ankle Sprain appointment at 8 AM in the Morning. Did the exercises suggested twice. At 5 PM, I played Table Tennis for 1 hour, couple of games of PickleBall and completed like 15K steps that same day. Mary Beth Newsome, you are simply AWESOME. Feel happy that I am in good hands. Referred to my Brother as well. All the people there are very nice and friendly. The exercises given were right to the point and very effective. They also gave me couple of bands to take home which was very convenient. Keep Rocking!!!
David is an excellent Physical Therapist who has a thorough knowledge and understanding of kinesiology and anatomy. Through evaluation, he identified the source of my shoulder pain and developed a progressive plan to get me back to normal function with no pain. He explained the “why” behind my pain, along with what and how to strengthen and lengthen the supporting structure. I would highly recommend David for athletes and active/aging athletes who want to keep moving or get back to moving.
I came to Back in Action in acute pain and unable to walk without a cane. In just 3 months, I am pain free and walking without a cane. Also I was taught what exercises to do when my pain acts up and how to practice self-care better. We even worked on my balance!! My PT Carly was fabulous. Can't say enough good things about this practice (clean, professional, friendly, accepts insurance, communication was great, did periodic appraisals of my condition) .. It was a great all around experience, I would highly recommend them. THANK YOU BIA, You got me my quality of life back!!!!!
they charged me first with a small amount and said my insurance would cover the rest. Then they came back and sent me a larger bill and said my insurance didn't cover it. Why can't they give me an relatively accurate estimate beforehand and Don't play this kind of game!!! If I knew they charged me that much, I wouldn't have done that treatment at all. After I posted this, I found another guy who had exactly the same experience as I had a couple of month ago. Looks like it's a pattern.
Hi Guys, I had very bad experience in this place. I gave my insurance details and i spoke with my insurance people also. This Physical therapy people said less amount before taking the treatment . They charged high amount after taking treatment. I was so upset after taking the treatment.
I have used Back in Action for 2 different issues now and have had a great experience each time. Juli at the front desk is always friendly and welcoming and David is very knowledgeable. He was able to get to the root of my back injury and develop a program that helped relieve the pain and spasms, strengthen my back and surrounding muscles and also help create muscle memory and body awareness to help protect my back from injury in the future. He was able to perform dry needling after I had a little set back and that was amazing! I have been able to get back to doing the activities I love and I am very grateful. I am a big proponent of physical therapy rather than just taking pain medicines, as movement is so important for good health.
Excellent, Chris does a great job.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
