List of Emergeortho Apex's Reviews
I recommend EmergeOrthoApex for orthopedic needs. The staff is courteous. Appointments are easy to schedule. My doctor is highly competent and follows through. All this given that I am a patient at the Veterans Administration hospital in Durham where Dr Lord is approved for outofservice care. Good quality health care in an old school setting. Even to the point of being scolded for not following orders and using a prescription. I am right at home.
Preop visit went well today with Mr. Teel PAC.He was very thorough as usual and answered all my questions. His years of experience in knee replacement surgery and working with Dr Gilbert my surgeon I feel like Im in good hands with this Pro Team....
I just took my daughter here with a broken arm and we were in and out within 30 minutes. Everyone was so kind and wonderful. Thank you
Had a very great experience and after 2 other doctor’s appointments these guys helped me where I couldn’t get any relief from the other 2 so yes I highly recommend these guys and girls.
My son was seen a week ago by Dr. Clifford for pain in his back that is keeping him from fully participating in sports and certain activities. The visit went well and he received a referral for physical therapy that was closer to home. I tried setting this up with a local PT and was told I needed an authorization code. I have called and left numerous messages for the past week with NO reply back. My son needs to be seen asap and cannot without this. The poor follow through with this office has made this a very unpleasant experience.
So far this has been a great experience. Practitioners very attentive caring and knowledgeable.
I found the personnel at Emerge Ortho to be very professional knowledgeable and courteous. Dr. Lord explained exactly what my next steps should be to insure a full recovery I’m very pleased with my experience
Beth was very knowledgeable and helpful with giving me new exercises and useful tips to help straighten and strengthen my elbow
I went to UNC urgent care in holly springs earlier around 430 yesterday for a small piece of glass in my foot. They were unable to get it out and they referred me to emerge ortho since they were open and assured they would have a better chance of being able to get it out. I called emerge ortho and I told them the situation and that UNC referred me there but emerge ortho said the providers “didn’t feel comfortable trying to get it out if they can’t see it or feel it” and recommended me going to the hospital. So I went to the ER last night and they referred me back to ortho stating “I don’t know why they recommended you to go to the hospital since ortho would be the best option. So they didn’t try to take it out since the PA at the ER didn’t feel comfortable and she knew there was someone better. So I spent $300 at the ER with a painful foot all because emerge ortho “didn’t feel comfortable trying to get the glass”. I will be going to another ortho place and not coming here.
Staff and doctors are really caring. Everyone is really helpful and nice.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
