I've been seeing him for over 20 years couldn't ask for a better Dr he's on top of his game very knowledgeable and very friendly great bedside manner he tells you the straight of things he won't beat around the bush very worthwhile visit

Wait an hour to see him for 10 mins.....seems to be preoccupied and had misdiagnosed a loved one that was forced to spend a month in the hospital.....stay away from the heartless place

Dr. Burris and his nurse Sam are a great team. I have been seeing them for years. I have a complicated list of health issues and it is difficult to sort them all out but he is very caring and knowledgeable. He listens to me and explains things if I have a question.

I have waited for up to an hour for Dr. between waiting room and checkup room. He is nice and listens to problems, asking good questions, but is much too quick to prescribe meds for problems. He has also given me referrals to other Drs. who were highly expensive and unimpressive (i.e. couldn't help me with pain problems). Since it is necessary for me to get referrals for the specialists I need to see, I would like to be referred to better Drs.

The Family Health Centers were he is located does not do a good job making you feel that your sickness is important to them. You have to get through their incredibly long phone system, just to get an appt. and you'll be lucky if you can get one the same day. I never felt that Dr. Burris felt like investigating any illness I may have had and instead would just write a prescription for antibiotics just to get me out of the office. Overall, I'd rate him to be an "average" doctor.
