We hold Dr Bird in highest regard after he operated on our daughter. He was a true professional yet had the skill to converse and reassure a young patient and get her thru a very exacting procedure. We are forever grateful for his expertise and her excellent outcome.

Best surgeon ever! Bedside manners are impeccable. Considerate, compassionate, and humble...all the qualities I require in a outstanding surgeon. I had a colon surgery in June 2014...another surgeon almost cost me my life. Dr. Bird took my case and only because of God and Dr. Bird's expertise....my life was changed. I now live in GA and I would drive 4 hours if I have any colon problems because he is that good...I would never trust anyone other than Dr. Bird to ever do colon surgery on me! Again, the very best!

Dr. Bird was a God-send to the WNC area. Crohn's Disease caused me to have to have my colon removed. Dr. Bird did my surgeries and I can say that the Lord used him to allow me to continue to live my best life. Thank you Dr. Bird.

Colin Bird definitely needs to learn some bedside manner. "Maybe" he's a good surgeon, but he's really poor at interpersonal skills. He seems egotistic and inflexible. Has zero compassion. I don't recommend him.

Excellent doctor does not miss a thing .I have the utmost respect and confidence in him. He also goes the extra mile for his you, which is necessary considering the gravity of the situation which is often is the end of life care. I admired his upbeat attitude which I feel is needed in health care

Doctor Bird; is a professional; proficient, articulate, and he listens, he makes sure that you understand every procedure. After I saw three other doctors, he was the only one who made the correct diagnoses, and then made the corrective surgery. Thanks Dr. Bird. rh
